Perfect for a Mariner 4 with Minn Kota 45

Five stars today (but I’ll update if something happens). This plastic mount kit does the job on our Intex Mariner 4 with a Minn Kota 45. (see my pictures).Sturdy, easy to install, nice looking, what can I expect more ?Oh yeah, Intex USA could stock the 8mm bolts and nuts. Hard to find those in stainless steel and out of order on Intex site.Thanks for reading.Pierre

very convenient and simple to install. I used it on an electric 40 motor, on my intex mariner 4, but I don’t have that boat anymore, 2 of them I owned and both would get popped by almost anything. I’m saving up for a real boat.

Works well for me

This mount works great for my Intex Excursion 5 Boat Set - Latest Model. It was a little confusing at first to get set up, but the directions seemed OK. I put a small electric trolling motor on the mount and I was set. Although the mounts will probably take a moderately sized motor, the boat itself cannot handle more than 30 - 40 pounds of thrust. You can feel the back of the boat start to deform and the prop starts to move under the boat. That is not to say that you CANNOT use something larger, just realize that the boat will buckle a bit in the back and you are pushing it…I have used this mount a couple dozen times in the past year without issues.

Hooked up to the back of my Intex Sehawk 4, and it easily holds my minn kota 30-lb thrust motor and powers me around lakes and even rivers. Keep a deep cycle marine battery in the back in a dry box, hook it all up, and youre set for fishing or putting around the lake with your girl. Great piece of hardware. There are lots of small wing nuts so make sure you keep track of everything and that you tighten it all down.

Good motor mount and a useful storage stand.

I used this on my Excursion 4. It fits very nicely, what I also like about it is that I leave my motor attached because it makes a nice stand to store my motor when it is not in use.

I will definitely order again if need be in the future.

These are really cool Not so good experience. This met my expectations and more definitely a good product I really like this product and I think it is very suitable for my needs, the price and the value is also very match. Very cool product. They look amazing!

What you get in not what is pictured

The picture shows ABS plastic what I recieced was wood and the tubing does not have bend supports as pictured. Wood and water does not play well together over time. So I can tell you I am NOT happy. I need this mount and do not have time before my trip to argue the matter. Not to mention wood ads weight opposed to plastic, it’s looks like having a ladder rack on a Rolls Royce. It looks like garbage and something made by a handyman in his garage and not something professional. Very very disappointed in the design and workmanship. The bolt holes are oversized and the washers almost push thru.
