Got this today, and it’s the best $19.99, I’ve ever spent!! It fits better than perfect on my Acer Chrome Book!! Took about 40 seconds to snap on, and made out of very tuff stuff! My Chrome Book is an ugly white, that was just starting to look a little bit dirty! Took some 409, cleaner and wiped it down good, let it dry—and snapped on the bottom and then the top, you have plenty of room on the bottom for proper ventilation of your laptop and man its also not a finger print magnet!! And your USB, ports well you have plenty of room to get to those!! Buy it!! It’s worth every bit of that 19.99, the blue looks awesome with that white color of my Chrome Book, and the other colors will also look great on any laptop! Makes them look like brand NEW!! Oh and it also has those little feet on the bottom, that makes it rise up a little and makes typing EASYYY!!!
A Pop of Color, A Layer of Protection…
I love my Chromebook. At a time when many people are relying on tablets almost exclusively, its nice to be able to open up my Chromebook, with its large screen, and start working immediately. The Chromebook 15 is an attractive device that resembles a MacBook on the outside. But in this case that sleek look comes at a price. From personal experience, I can tell you that this computer scratches easily. Within the first couple of weeks that it arrived it had a couple of scratches after treating it with kid gloves. At that rate I knew that it would require some protection. I had a hard time finding accessories for this particular model. Then I came across the iPearl mCover Hard Shell Case for 15.6” Acer Chromebook 15. The case consists of two hard, plastic components, one for the top and one for the bottom. The product snaps on easily and fits snug. This case doesn’t hinder the operation of the computer. There are also vents on the bottom so that it will not impede the unit’s ability to cool itself. It even has a pop up stand in the rear that facilitates typing on flat surfaces. My computer has not incurred any further scratches since using this case. Furthermore, it gives an added layer of protection. All that while adding a pop of color to you Chromebook! I think this is a great product. I hope this review was helpful to you.

My only complaint about this cover is it picks up fingerprints easily. The quality of the plastic also feels a bit on the cheap side. However, it seems to be very durable. I’ve used it for some 3 months now and it has kept my Acer Chromebook in pristine condition. The fit is superb. Once installed, it will stays put and will not come off very easily. Overall, it’s a good investment. The Chromebook has grown on me and I hope to keep it looking new for many years to come.

I was surprised at how easily it just clipped right one. I bought a previous one and it was mostly translucent but this one really dark in color. There are vents on the bottom for cooling if needed and legs in the back that flip out if you need it to tilt forward a bit for typing.

I just got my shell case. It was a fast delivery. I got it sooner than expected. I got the aqua and I just love this color. As I take these pictures I know it’s too dark in my room to get good lighting. Photos show it in a greenish tint, but it’s a beautiful aqua. Snapped on really easy. I don’t believe these are built for the protection of drops, etc. but will keep the white Chromebook clean.

I had read the good reviews, but was a bit nervous about how my experience would go. i was worried for nothing, this cover is all that and a bag of chips!!! it’s functional and looks nice, protects from any worries about smudges or dirt getting on the nice white surface. I don’t really use the little plastic pieces you can flip out to elevate the back of the laptop, i tried it and it works, but i don’t see the need. this laptop doesn’t run very hot, and ergonomically, i type fine with it flat. The clear case is badass though, sometimes i look and don’t even realize its on there, it fits perfectly, and you’d almost think Acer built it themselves, it fits so snugly and just compliments the laptop so nicely. to sum up, this thing is awesome, i used to have a white chromebook i loved, but was very hesitant using it and would always worry about getting dirt or smudges or ink or anything on it. now i have a white chromebook i love, and don’t worry at all about smudging it! =)

I was initially a bit uncertain about this because it doesn’t appear to be super durable at first glance, but now I’m a believer! It snaps into place perfectly & fits like it was custom-made for my Chromebook. I’m on month four of use & both this cover (and my laptop) look brand spanking new. Smears or small splashes wipe away easily & I love the aqua blue. Worth every penny!
