Bracket Holster Mount for Garmin nuvi 50 50LM
Color:For Nuvi 50 Series iSaddle CH-156 Bracket Cradle Mount for Garmin nuvi 50 50LM GPS (Work with 17mm Balls)
This product is well built, and perfectly fit on the back of my GPS model. Only problem…I had to push so stinking hard to get the round opening to fit over the ball on my GPS non-skid dash-pad holder that I broke the plastic arm that connects to the suction cup. (Very irritating) I would take all the blame, and give it 5-stars, but I don’t see why was it had to be so stinking hard to get it to just “snap” onto the standard-size GPS ball mount. This product still swivels, and seems to fit perfectly…so I don’t think I forced a smaller product onto a bigger ball. Now I just need to replace the part I mounted it to… Regardless: I would buy this product again - but I would just suggest others watch where they apply force to their mount.
Connection is too tight on Garmin provided mount for Garmin nuvi 2597LMT (which is the friction mount with four little sandbags and the mount that slides into that). Have to force it onto the ball mount and then some of the metal ring starts bending out of the bracket. If you plan on never removing your bracket from the mount and never, ever shift the bracket in the slightest this product will work.Otherwise, avoid it and pay a little more for something better because with the metal twisting out that way its not going to last too long.
Fit my Garmin Drive 50 perfectly, a great replacement for my cracked and broken original. Both the part where it mounts on the Garmin and the ball joint fit, the ball joint was a bit ‘tight’, but that also means it is less likely to come off after it is snapped on. Overall, I’m impressed with the fit for the low price.
It’s A Okay Piece For The Gamin Nuvi GPS For A Extra Bracket For My Suction Cup Because I Bought A Garmin Friction Mount For My Dashboard Because I Had To Use The Original Bracket For The Dashboard Mount.Thank You
Bought as a spare cradle for my Garmin 1490, and it fits correctly, by snapping over the unit, just like the OEM bracket. It seems to hold tight on the ball mount, and will allow me to use in a different vehicle, and not keep dismounting the suction cup part from the windshield, when using in multiple vehicles. It was originally bought, because I forgot to take the OEM off the windshield of a car I was driving. I thought it was lost, but 2 weeks later after purchasing this as a replacement, I found it was still attached to the car’s windshield when I went back to pick it up.
This will not stay on GPS. What good is it if it keeps falling off the windshield?
It started ou looking exactly like the bracket that came with the Garmin, which broke in the area where the ball from the mount inserts. When I trie to put it into the back of the gps unit it didnt fit. There was slightly too much plastic, it didn’t want to seat fully into place. Being a do it yourselfer, I filed off the excess plastic and now it works just like the original.
As Advertised. Works well with my Garmin GPS. Thanks!
Perfect
Broke after less than 1 month. Fit was too tight compared factory part that came with Garmin.
Fast shipping. Works great.
Works great
Bad fitting
Poor fit on Garmin ball and poor fit on Garmin Drivesmart 61 back. It can be forced (barely) but requires two hands and care to stabilize things so one doesn’t break something…
perfect glad i found a replaacement
Excellent product I recommend. Luis M.
