Incredible 3D quality for an excellent price!

Purchased these for use with my new Optoma HD141X 1080p 3D DLP Home Theater Projector. Of course, there are so many options to chose from out there, so I wanted to be sure that I got the kind that would be reliable and work well. The JmGOs had a pretty solid score overall, so I thought I’d give them a try.Both units arrived promptly and well packaged. Nicely packaged for protection as well.Each box included: Glasses, USB mini cable, lens cleaner cloth, & instruction booklet. However, there is absolutely NO charging unit that comes with these glasses. Fortunately, you can buy a USB charger for very little money, or as I did, use a phone AC/USB charger to do the trick. Plugable 2-Port 20W USB Unisversal Smart Charger (Compatible with Android, Apple iOS, and Windows Mobile Devices)Glasses come with little charge, so they will require a bit of time to fully charge. Charging takes a few hours to get to “full” status, and the glasses will turn off (red LED) once they are at maximum capacity.Each unit has a protective plastic over the lenses that must be removed before using. Very simple…just lift the tabs up, and the plastic peals right off.Operation is a breeze: Just push the button on the transmitter (side of glasses), and the LED will blink BLUE once. Set your TV or Projector to “3D DPL MODE” and you’re off an running. I’ve watched a handful of movies in 3D so far, and the quality has been outstanding! Units are lightweight so there is little fatigue on the ears and nose. However, plastic is a bit flimsy feeling, and must be handled with care. These are definitely NOT for kids below the age of 12 (unless well supervised).Turning them off is easy as well – just hold the button on the side for a few seconds, and the blue LED will blink 3 times. Easy!PROS: Lightweight, easy to operate, and outstanding 3D rendering. Full charge will last for MANY hours.CONS: No charger with units. Plastic is bit flimsy feeling (easily breakable?). Requires a few hours to fully charge.

Good battery life

These glasses work seamlessly with the projector; it takes a while to get the hang of it, but that’s mostly because there are so many options. There are many YouTube videos that are almost meant for this projector and glasses, it’s uncanny. The projector even converts 3D into 2D if you just want to view it that way. Good battery life, comes with micro-cloth and charging cable, and an all-in-all great purchase. Highly recommended.
