Perfect for outdoor storage of outdoor tables!

I purchased this cover for my Kettler outdoor table because I cannot keep my garage clean to the point I can store a table tennis table consistently.Initial Thoughts:Initial appearances were good, and I could tell the cover was of very high quality - it just has that feel of quality. The thickness of the material makes it very easy to slide onto the table without worrying about snags and tears. There is a vent seam near the top that is covered by several inches of material to prevent water from entering the vent.Installation:I am a 5’11 man, and I find that installation is very easy and straight forward. You simply open the velcro seam and start sliding the cover across the table. You make a few fit adjustments and then close the velcro seam. My wife is 5’4, and she can install the cover with ease as well. The only thing I will knock here is that the velcro cover does not have quite enough velcro. A few more inches on each part would give it a much tighter seal on that side.Removal:Removing the cover is as simple as the installation - just release the velcro seam and pull the cover off from the other side. The cover is thick and sturdy enough that it comes off cleanly wihtout snags.Does it work?I have had this cover on my table since the day I bought it in June 2014. I keep my table up against my garage door, with the vent side towards the garage door. It is exposed to direct sunlight from the East in the morning. It has seen 90+ degree direct sunlight days, many severe thunderstorms, wind, pollen, and now freezing weather. It protects my table 100% from all weather, and the cover has not blown off or even been dislodged in the slightest. There is no discoloration or embrittlement of the cover.Bottom Line:This cover is an absolute MUST if you have to store your table outside. Considering the sales price of my table, this cover is about as sound of an investment as one can make. The quality is every bit as good as the table it protects (also a Kettler product). There simply is no comparison between a product as this and some generic product you would find at the local Wal-Mart. The only flaw I can point out is the velcro closure should be more stout. I did not take off a star for it because it is just my opinion that it needs more. Sturdy, good quality material, but needs more velcro on seam

I can only give this 4 stars because the seam down the edge needs a little more Velcro. The gaps between the 1 inch Velcro tabs are too far apart and the cover blows open in high wind and lets sideways blowing rain in through the seam. I bought more industrial strength Velcro tabs at my home center and added them to the edge and fixed the problem myself. But it was a trip to the store and labor to make up for the products lack of a few more Velcro tabs to make this product excellent. Still the best one on the market for the price that I could find, so I would recommend it, just find a good quality Velcro to order at the same time if you live in a windy, wet area like I do.

the table we got is good to 500 fathoms in full storm gales

Supposedly, the table we got is good to 500 fathoms in full storm gales, but we got a cover anyway, and feel it was a good investment. The plastic is heavy and pretty durable, while still feeling soft and easy to handle. Well designed, it goes on quickly and easily and keeps our favorite family toy clean and pretty and dry.Excellent product.

Great cover and very well thought out “installation”.

Great cover and very well thought out “installation”. One side is open and closes up with Velcro making is a cinch to toss over the table and secure in a minute. Phoenix Arizona sunshine destroyed our last Kettler table so hopefully the cover will prove to be a worthy investment.

It doesn’t come down as far as I would like though. I wish it was a foot longer …

I looked at al the options of table covers and decided on this one. My table is a Stiga and while it is a tight fit, it does work. It doesn’t come down as far as I would like though. I wish it was a foot longer on the bottom. It was very easy to put on though.

Works great. Cover didn’t blow off like the last one …

Works great. Cover didn’t blow off like the last one I had. We are in a really windy area. Though there is a small rip on the top corner. I just ducked taped it. I am not sure if it is caused by the wind or when I put it on.

Good so far

Good cover. So far this has been protecting our indoor table from the rain (even though it’s not supposed to be stored outside. ). One side has Velcro which opens a bit I wish the Velcro was closer together but so far it hasn’t gotten wet. I hope it holds up and doesn’t rip.

Great Cover for Expensive Tables!

This cover beats all other covers you can purchase at the local sporting goods store. Our outdoor ping pong table was almost $1,000 and we like to keep it covered so it will last. I originally bought a Kettler cover when I got the table years ago, it lasted but needed to be replaced after about 10 years. I tried the another cover from Sports Authority and it didn’t even last one summer here in NY. I went to Amazon and found the Kettler cover again. Yes, it was pricey but it is well worth the protection it provides for our table. We want out table to last at least our lifetime, and Kettler covers are the best in doing so. The design on this cover was a bit different from our original Kettler cover, but not an issue since it does a great job protecting it from the snowstorm we are having now! Also, our table shows no fading from the hot summer sun because we keep it covered when not in use. The kids know that my table must be covered after they use it.
