Incomplete Instructions

The reason my Kitchenaid did not get Five stars is not because it didn’t do a good job, but because of incomplete instructions. On my first usage so far, after washing the bowl and beaters. I proceeded to mix homemade yeast bread. Upon removing dough from bowl there was some gray streaks in the dough. At their web site after trouble shooting it stated that a polishing material is used on stainless steel and prevents no danger but to rub this material wash bowl with salt and lemon or scrub with baking soda. It would really have been nice if that had been stated in the instruction booklet.

Very poor quality

I bought this item as a replacement. I had a white 5 quart KitchenAid mixer, but remodeled my kitchen and opted to go with black. I used it and it seemed “loose” , but I was mixing thick dough so I let it go. I just used it again for cookies and the pin rattled half way out of the back. The screw in the middle was almost out as well. The action is so loose that the mixer almost “walks” off the counter. I am taking it to the Salvation Army and trying again. I am disgusted in the poor quality.

I am thrilled to have finally gotten a kitchenaid. My life has been much easier. A small insignificant aesthetic piece fell off so I only gave it 4 stars, and because it is a bit too small to do large quantities, but overall great product. I have had it for about 5 months and still holds up after all I’ve put it through!All in all I love the kitchenaid and found it cheaper on amazon than anywhere else!

Awesome product!!

Bought for a christmas gift and it is working fine. Comes in handy when you need to batch up cookies made or tons of pancakes for the kids and family. Havent really done alot with it but it does what i need it to do when i need something done

A tool your grandchild will be able to use…

I waited for years to buy one have been baking for a week. The price is excellent look in a store try to find one for this price. KitchenAid is a mixer that will last a lifetime. I have a friend who has her grandma’s and bought a new one because of her cooking ministry the new one 10 years later works as well as the grandma’s. I am the only one in my group that does not have one but 400.00 dollars with all these bells and whistles is not what I needed or special colors. Buy basic colors and you will never regret because neon will look odd in your kitchen in 30 years.

More Power needed.

Bought it to make homemade Pizza, anything over 3 cups of flour and it starts walking away from you. You have to hold it down, I do not expect to last very long with weekly use.

I love it so much I am looking for projects

How did I bake without it. I love it so much I am looking for projects. I just mastered macarons although it took multiple tries. Kitchen aid wins over any handhold device, plus I find my cakes being more consistent.

Not a huge baker, surprised how much I love and use it.

Have owned for a few years now and just bought my sister in law one - not a huge baker so didn’t think I’d use it much, but I use it at least once a week for either baking or cooking. Super reliable, doesn’t make a huge mess (if you know what you’re doing) and easy to clean. Love this thing and hope to own it a long time.
