KitchenAid Mixer Cover Review

I was getting tired of having a dusty mixer so a cover was just the thing I needed! This cover is a heavy quilted cotton and very well made. It looks great on my mixer and in my kitchen. It has a side pocket that I use to store some recipe booklets and some of the beater attachments, the other attachments I leave in the bowl. The cover still fits over everything nicely, bowl and all.I own a bowl lift style KitchenAid mixer and while the product description says it will fit either the bowl lift or tilt head I found that I have a 1 ¹⁄₂ inch to 2 inch gap at the bottom. I posted a picture so you can see what I’m talking about. Even with the gap I find that the cover is sufficient enough to keep my mixer protected and dust free. While I wish the cover completely covered everything I think it still looks good!

Just what I wanted for a gift. Got my daughter the new KitchenAid mixer off of Amazon and this was part of the gift. She was so shocked and happy to get both!

One of those products that was exactly what I was expecting from the descriptions here on Amazon. It serves the purpose I got it for, which is to cover my KitchenAid mixer and protect it from dust and scratches. It was also considerably cheaper than the fancy, quilted job also sold here:KitchenAid KSMCTIER Fitted Stand Mixer Cover, Empire RedThis cover is attractive, well made and easy to clean. 100% cotton, machine wash gentle cycle, tumble dry on low. It’s interesting to note this cover has the same 1-year warranty as the more expensive version. And it fits my Artisan stand mixer just fine, even with the 6-qt mixing bowl and splash guard in place. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

Nice quality, just a tad pricey but a must in protector your expensive mixer

Bought this for the Professional Series Kitchenaid Mixer and it fits perfectly. It’s great for preventing dust build up. The quality of the fabric seems like it’s high quality and decently think for minor bump protection. There are pockets designed for the beaters but that would expose it to dust. The pocket does open up a bit so it will hold something thick like a piece of cloth or something similar. It’s a bit pricey for $19 but it is Kitchenaid. It would’ve been nice to have this shaped like the mixer similar to the cover for the tilt head mixers but that’s minor. This is triangular in shape instead.

The material and construction/sewing is sturdy and feels good

It fits perfectly on my Artisan 5 quart but the whisk makes the side pocket stick out so it doesn’t fit securely. I have to pack it with the whisk attached in the bowl and the paddle, which I use mostly, stored in the side-pocket=inconvenient; extra work. I don’t like the light color as it catches dust and dirt easily, e.g., liquid spots & other every-day cooking mess but for the price (bought it on sale for $18) it is great

Fit my Old 2004 Kitchen Aid Mixer Perfectly…….

Fit perfectly over my 2004 Kitchen Aid Mixer! Being in the kitchen everything can get greasy, and start to cause a build up of grease. I wanted something to protect my old kitchen aid ( and could be washed) and this fit the bill, and fit nicely. I liked the pockets on the sides - I store my accessories here for an easy find. Its quilted and made of good quality. Highly recommend.

Hemmed and hawed, but really glad I went ahead and bought it!

I’ve had my Artisan 5 Quart Kitchenaid Stand Mixer for a few years now, and always thought that this cover was a bit of a luxury, and that I could easily find fifty other things to spend twenty-five bucks on. Even for all of that, it occurred to me recently that, with cats in my house, a cover for my stand mixer would save me some pre-mixing clean-up time. Now that I’ve gotten my cover, I’m thrilled that I decided to buy it!This cover is plenty big for my mixer. I leave all of the attachments in the bowl, as I’m sure your average Kitchenaid stand mixer owner does, and this cover fits over everything with plenty of room to spare. The bottom edge of the cover hits the countertop and covers every inch of my mixer, with no problem doing so. I even put the cover in the washer and dryer after receiving it, to see how much it might shrink. Mine didn’t shrink at all, and the laundering got it fragrant and wrinkle-free.Even though my stand mixer is white, I opted for the khaki cover, which blends in perfectly with my kitchen cabinets and counter tops.This may not have been the absolute best thing I’ve ever gotten on Amazon for $25.00 or less (that’d be my Weber chimney starter - best damned $12.00 I’ve spent in a long time!!!), but this is right up there with the best of my best-buy-for-the-money purchases!

I have one of the 4.5-5 qt bowl-lift models from a Walmart Black Friday deal from 2010, and this cloth cover is just barely skims above the counter. I keep my bowl and cover on the machine, and store the whisk, dough hook, and beater attachments within the side pocket. it’s great to keep everything clean and organized in a single area.
