Great product!!

These have to be the best thing ever invented for a cake decorator!! These fit the mixer bowl perfectly. Mix up the Buttercream right in the insert, pull it out, cover with the lid, and use the buttercream right out of the container. And best of all no bowl washing, clean up is a breeze. It does state not to use a side scrapper mixer head, so just use your standard mixer head or the whisk. This is a great product. I’m planning on getting more. the little hook on the left of the picture butts up against the mixer when running to keep the bowl from mixing.

Makes life easier

This was a gift for our daughter who does a great deal of cooking and baking. I can only report that she had one set of these and asked for another because they are so versatile and useful for prep work and storage. They fit perfectly in the KitchenAid bowl and insert and remove easily. She reports that the covers seal well and that they are durable and well made. Hey, these make clean up so much easier and require less washing of the actual metal bowl.

Love it!

My first one arrived crushed as they shipped it with a heavy TV wall mount. They quickly replaced. Works great as a liner, I love that it has a lid. Little tricky standing on its own. They tip pretty easy, but its made to sit inside the mixer bowl. And for that, its awesome!!!! It extend the use of tour mixing bowl.I have several recipes where you need to separate and mix ingredients. This makes one bowl turn into 3 plus easier to store than the giant kitchen aid bowls.

Not great.

I’m not the biggest fan. They sound GREAT but hot water and any pushing on them and they distort pretty easily. I haven’t had them for more than 1-2 months and they’re almost done for. I think a second bowl is a better idea because they’re more durable instead of this thinner-than-tupperware plastic.

Just received these this morning and I have to say I was somewhat disappointed, I have to agree with the others that have reviewed this item, the quality just isn’t there, it’s too much money for the quality which is like the throw away bowls from the dollar stores. KitchenAid dropped the ball on this item. I much rather would have had them made from something like a Rubbermaid or Tupperware material. They certainly aren’t made to last.

Flimsy but useful

The concept is great, but you do have to keep hold of the liner while it’s in the bowl and the beater is turning. It’s very flimsy. However I use it to store frosting and batter so it works ok. I also use the lids to cover the stainless mixing bowl when I’m frosting cakes.

It doesn’t fit the bowl snug. Very loose and taller than the bowl. The only good thing about it is I can use it for storage. Very expensive storage that is.

Disappointment

I would never buy these again, They are super cheap and cracked after two uses. Waste of money. I am embarrassed, I gave them as a gift, and now I look cheap. Cool idea, but poorly carried out.

Cheaply made overpriced low quality rip off!

These SUCK! So cheap and thin! I went to push the lid in and it smashed down and the side riped! What the heck! These are expensive! They should be way cheaper and disposable!
