This bowl is so beautiful! I agree with other posters that it is heavier than the standard KitchenAid bowl…but it is also larger than my standard bowl (the standard for my Ultra Power is 4.5 Q, and this one is 5Q), and this bowl is ceramic instead of metallic. The pour spout is awesome for cakes, especially since the bowl is heavier.

Beautiful & Functional

This bowl is great. After reading other reviews about the glass bowls breaking, i decided to go with the ceramic one. It is a lot heavier than the stainless bowl that came with my mixer so it takes a little more muscle to use and clean it. Its very sturdy and seems well designed. It has a much bigger handle to hold onto and a pouring spout which my original bowl didnt have. The only downside I see, is that the splash guard that came with the original bowl doesnt fit this bowl. It is unfortunate, but not a dealbreaker. The joy that i receive when i walk by the new ceramic bowl is worth the extra trouble. Im very visual and this bowl makes me smile. My mixer is majestic yellow and so is the bowl i purchased.

Beautiful Bowl

This bowl is larger than the stainless bowl that came with my standard tilt-head mixer, so it takes a little getting used to seeing the large bowl on the mixer. The white ceramic bowl is much more attractive, however, and since these standmixers are just as much a piece of decor in the kitchen as they are useful appliances, I really appreciate making it more pleasing to look at. It fits in much nicer with our white kitchen, too! I’m glad I found this!

Love this bowl

Love this bowl! It is beautiful and is a great addition to my stand mixer. It is a little on the head up side but it is sturdy and great quality. Cleans easily as well. It is also bigger than the metal bowl that comes with the mixer so can hold more. And the pour spout is very convenient!

This bowl is beautiful!! Very serene color that I’ve paired with the Satin copper mixer….the two colors compliment each other nicely. Sturdy in its making. The brim is slightly larger around than the stainless steel bowl that came with the mixer so unfortunately the splash guard will not fit this bowl but that does not take away from my rating.

Works great

Bowl is bigger than original and works wonderful. It can be a little heavy but I love it. Delivery was sooner than expected and in great shape.

My Mom Loves It!

I bought this as a gift for my Mom. She’s been using the same KitchenAid stand mixer for over 30 years and this really modernizes it and fits with no issues. The bowl is even larger than the metal ones so now when mixing items, no ingredients spill over.
