Purchasing a cover for a particular model is worth the extra money.

We are very impressed with the KitchenAid Silver Frost Cover for Tilt-Head Stand Mixer. We have been meaning to purchase a cover for our KitchenAid Stand Mixer since we keep it on our counter due to the frequent use, especially since we have purchased all the different attachments. Our mixer is a Cobalt Blue; therefore, having a darker color it would show the dust so we were constantly cleaning it.This particular cover is made to the form and its exact size, which will reduce the amount of cleaning. To keep the cover on the KitchenAid Stand Mixer, there is a zipper on the back of the cover which is easy to unzip to slide the cover on and off. Compared to the standard or universal rectangle covers, this cover also allows for the 5 quart mixing bowl to remain attached to the mixer. The cover is made well and therefore we are very pleased that we spent the extra money for the proper KitchenAid Mixer cover.

Looks Great!

The true red color of this KitchenAid stand Mixer cover matches the red accents in my kitchen. It fits the mixer EXACTLY. It looks great on the counter and is protected from dust and everyday cooking spatters. It is still also possible to store a few of the accessories inside the bowl with the cover zipped up and over the mixer. There were many different covers available, but I am quite happy with the look and functionality of this cover.

100% Worthless

This Kitchenaid Stand Mixer cover is too tight to properly fit the Stand Mixer. Since it does not fit properly, it is unusable. Do not buy it! I am guessing that Kitchenaid has multiple subcontractors at work sewing these covers. Buying this cover is a real crap-shoot (with the emphasis on CRAP) in that you have no clue if a good seamstress has sewn the cover you get.

Must have for any Kitchen Aid owner!!

Fits my standard Kitchen Aid Artisan tilt top mixer perfectly!! This is a must have if you own a Kitchen Aid mixer that you leave standing out. Keeps it clean and dust free. Does not fit when you have the optional splatter guard on the bowl. Otherwise, very well made cover with outside pocket for attachments – you can fit the beater attachment and dough hook in there. I’m really very pleased with my purchase!

Fits Like A Glove!

This is really well made, and the red is really beautiful! I couldn’t believe how well it fits and easy to put on and take off with the zipper down the back. I keep mine on top of my fridge so this way it keeps dust from settling in the mixing bowl and having to take it down to clean all the time. I would definately recommend as a gift for bridal shower or wedding if a KitchenAid is on their list. Very happy with mine!

Not for classic mixers but a great deal!

I bought the khaki/tan one for my classic mixer. I was so excited to see a fitted cover after looking for years, that I failed to see that this was for the tilt-head and not the classic. However, it still fits quite well, but is just not long enough to cover the bottom of the mixer. Another thing to be aware of, no matter your mixer, is that the fabric started to draw out the lubricant from inside the mixer head. That surprised me, but I’m afraid to wash the cover and have it shrink further. Bottom line, this covers nicely, protects from dust and damage, the price was great, and the pocket is a bonus. Not sure what to put in there, but it’s nice to have. :)

Reasonably priced kitchen aid cover for Artisan size mixer.

The item was true to color in the picture. The description does not specify what size mixer is compatible. I own the professional 600 series and this item did not fit as picture. It sits almost two inches shorter than seen in the picture and the bottom of the mixer is exposed. The zipper did not fit well and was unable to close it. However, I was able to make it fit by turning the bowl backwards with the handle facing the arm of the mixer. There were loose threads hanging in and near the zipper which should have been clipped before packaging.

Cover smells bad, wash before using!!!!

This fits my Artisan 5 qt stand mixer perfectly! However, I bought the silver color and the inside of the cover stinks! It smells like machine oil, or gasoline. There are washing instructions so I’m going to wash it several times, but we warned this may need washing because I don’t want to put anything that smells like this near something I prepare food on!
