My old reliable KitchenAid mixer still works as good as new but the plastic on the screw for the knob fell apart. I searched online and found this replacement and ordered it. I could have just order the screw part but decided to get the cover with it. It fits the mixer with no problem. The only difference is that the screw is a bit longer than the original one. It still holds the cover and any attachments that I use in place, just a little odd that the screw sticks out a little bit more than the original one.

Exactly what I needed. Purchased a used kitchenaid mixer off of craigslist a year or so ago. It did not come with this cap, was kind of an eye sore instead of a focal point. Package arrived quickly and fit perfectly. I did notice that the old screw that did come with mixer appeared to be able to screw in a little more then the new one, but what the heck went with the new one. Still looks great and did not negatively effect the appearance any!

Perfect fit! I purchased my KitchenAid mixer from a box store and it was missing this piece, I got a replacement from the store but it was cheap plastic and kept falling out. This product is nice quality and matches that if the mixer, it fits well and secures in place.
This now keeps me from feeling like my mixer is incomplete
Bought a stand mixer at deep discount from a Macy’s that was shutting down. It was missing this piece and it bugged me more than it should, since I really only ever use the whisk and paddle. This now keeps me from feeling like my mixer is incomplete.

Not much to say. Pretty basic piece. Only criticism is maybe make the knob metal instead of plastic that can split in half?
