Easy enough for a DIY phone fix!!!

Easy enough - YOUTUBE is your friend. I’ve done a half a dozen screen replacements… mostly for my daughter (whom I love dearly but is hard on phones). This one was easy enough - as easy as any other.That said - no matter how many you do, if it’s been a while, I fully recommend refreshing your memory by watching a youtube video before you start!!!Again, this one went easy - about 20 minutes and my daughter’s screen was back to one piece and she was as happy as can be!!! And at the end of the day - a happy daughter is what it’s all about. I was also a happy daddy because taking it to a shop to have it replaced would have been at least $99… so for about $20 bucks - I did it myself. I’d say that if your even moderately handy that you should be able to pull it off. Just be VERY careful every step of the way. There are some connectors that are a pain - some ribbon cables that are delicate and easy to rip, and if you don’t get everything back right, the camera won’t work, the speakers won’t work, the home button won’t work… so take your time and be careful!!!

The product came broken (Cracked), the home button is wobbling around, it’s iffy when trying to respond to touch, and worse of all, it DOES NOT FIT. I would ask for a refund if I didn’t only need the screen to get photos off of the old broken phone. I also can’t remove it because I had a professional put it on and I need some way to access the phone. The quality of the screen is very poor as well. When looking at the photo, please remember that this is the one they sent me, NOT the one I was replacing! The only good thing about this product is that it came on time and wasn’t missing any parts. Still not worth what I paid for!

It’s ok.

This screen is ok. It works, but I definitely notice some inconsistencies. Once installed. you can see that the screen does not sit flush with the body of the phone. I’ve had it on there for about a year and a half now, and you can actually see that the glue/adhesive is no longer keeping the screen intact with the digitizer. I also noticed that there are two spots on the screen that are brighter than the other areas, not sure what’s up with that. This screen works alright, but if you’re looking for one that’s closer to what was originally on the phone, you may want to look elsewhere.

Full LCD but missing support for camara and prox sensor.

Overall a good screen, took us 20 minutes to replace using the tools provided. The screen has most of the supports except the collar for the camara and for the proximity sensor.Everything worked, using tools provided.Photos are of installed screen and the old screen showing where I had to remove the old collars.

it works perfect and it wasn’t impossible to replace

I destroyed my phone screen. I called a place where they fix iphones and they wanted to charge me over 100 dollars to fix it. I gave this a try. It was easy to replace thanks to YouTube I was able to replace it. Now it seems I have a brand new phone.

Worked great! Daughter loves her new screen. I used videos on Youtube to find out how to replace it. Just keep in mind, there are some small things like camera and light sensor and other small parts that you must take off your current screen and put onto this one.

For the price I am happy. Installation was fine, a little discolored yellow area has shown up on my screen after a few months. It is still fully operational, though. If I wanted a longer term more professional fix, I might try a different screen.

I get I got the bad lemmon?

So I bought this to replace my screen and I have years of experience. Once I replaced the screen it seems the top part of the screen near the status bar wouldn’t recognize touch.
