Nice beginner set, especially for a younger child. Good variety and having multiple specimens on each strip makes it even easier for my 6 year old to look at by herself. I can also recommend the My First Lab Duo-Scope Microscope (great for older kids or just an all around nice scope) or the Carson Microbrite 20X-40X Zoom LED Lighted Pocket Microscope (if you are on a budget, for a younger child, or as a second microscope. Super handy for taking outside to view bugs and leaves!).
Great birthday gift for our 6 year year old nephew who wants to be a scientist. We got this to go along with a microscope and he was soooo excited! I love that he has some prepared starter slides to understand what it’s all about!
Highly recommend! These slides were awesome! They made our children fight to look at them. They wanted to get more slides. Their curiosity soared. Best present ever!
She prefers to make her own~~ Just not too interested in somebody elses finds. She finds wasp larvae much more “ gross ” !!
Kids got microscopes for Christmas so these were a nice addition to go with! Nicely made.
These slides when coupled with the easy to use digital microscope opens a miniature world to young mind with the ability to print what they see and share it with their peers.
Perfect for my son’s new microscope
These worked well .
some pieces missing from the slide. lol…. some slides were empty.
MORE GREAT SLIDES!
the kid likes it.
Great quality slides. The pictures make them look cheap, but in actuality they are study glass slides. Interesting specimens also. Daughter will love them.
It’s rated for too young of ages, I think. Maybe 5-5 1⁄2 years old+
These work well for my 4 year old to get an idea of how to use his Learning Resources microscope. They come in a nice box.
