Turbo Frequency Up to 2.16 GHz
The 11.6” N22 Series 16GB Chromebook from Lenovo is designed for a Web-optimized experience and provides you with a balance of computing and mobility. Powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Celeron N3050 dual-core processor and 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM, the N22 Chromebook can handle multitasking and everyday computing needs, such as checking emails, watching videos, and composing papers. If you need more processing power, the CPU can achieve a burst speed of 2.16 GHz. The N22 Chromebook has an 11.6 inch (1366 x 768) anti-reflective HD screen driven by integrated Intel HD Graphics. You can even output video using its HDMI port. For storing files and programs, it is equipped with 16GB of eMMC flash storage, a specification commonly seen on Chromebooks. When space runs low, you can attach additional storage options using its USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, and microSD card slot. Connect to the Internet using 802.11ac WiFi and additional peripherals using Bluetooth 4.1 wireless technology. It also has a built-in 1MP webcam, microphone, and speakers for video chat capabilities as well as a single microphone/headphone combo jack. The installed operating system installed is Chrome OS.
This laptop is light and convenient to handle, with excellent long battery life. This model has a unique feature that I love that I’ve not seen on any other laptop, which is the reason I bought this one: the camera rotates so it can take pictures/videos of what is in front of you as well as showing you (you are the only thing other laptop webcams can show). Another unique feature of this model is that it has a built-in retracting carrying handle. And for only about $80 more, I could have gotten it with the optional touchscreen. While an identical model is also available as a Winbook, the crucial reason that I choose the Chromebook version is the incredible ease of use that is only available in Chromebooks, just open it and it is running and ready to go immediately, and it always keeps itself updated automatically, including malware protection, so you never have to pay attention to and wait through lengthy updating processes. It just occasionally (every few weeks) asks that you click to install updates that had already downloaded in the background, by doing a quick restart that takes just a few seconds!
Nice little laptop for surfing the web. Only beef I have is the off white lettering on the key tabs. Hard to see. Plus the smaller keyboard will take some getting use to. But….the laptop performs as advertised. This is my first chromebook so it will be a good starter one to see if I can migrate away from Windows.
I bought this just to mess around with ChromeOS and to get something with good battery life for everyday use.I am happy with this purchase so far.Pros:1. ChromeOS. No viruses. I think this is a big seller and I can see how these are very popular in education after looking at the management tools for them.2. Price. Can’t beat a laptop that can do (email, web browsing, social media, Netflix, etc.). Also would be great as a laptop for a child without breaking the bank as well as being able to monitor your child’s usage by setting up supervised user accounts.3. I know this is not a huge thing, but I do like the rotating webcam.4. I have tried Netflix and Amazon video on it and have not had any stuttering problems.5. Battery Life. I get about 7-8 hours of battery life, so can’t complain about that. I am sure if you just use email and light web browsing you can get much better.6. This laptop is on the list to (hopefully soon) get Google PlayStore apps. This will make it a lot more useful after having access to all the Apps on Playstore.7. The keys are nice. They don’t feel cheap. I would say they are close to what I have on my Macbook air, but a little bit stiffer. I also like the clickable mouse pad feel.Cons:1. The speakers are a bit low. I have to turn up the volume almost all the way to watch Netflix.2. You cannot create a local password, you have to use your Gmail password. The problem with that is I use 1Password, which is not supported on ChromeOS, and I have a long password for gmail with random numbers and letters. So I have to open 1Password on my phone and key the password in every time. Would be nice to be able to set a local password. You can set a pin, but this is only to come out of sleep mode.3. It does seem to lag a bit when opening some websites. Not a huge thing, but a minor annoyance. If you are looking for a cheap laptop to use for surfing this is a great buy.I have had no problems with power. The only problem I had was it didn’t come charged so I had to plug it in first.
I have an Asus Chromebook, needed another one. I’m just as happy with this as my Asus. The texture and appearance is high quality. The speakers put out a great volume for the size in my opinion. For the price, this is hands down the best deal currently at $138.
I love this laptop. It’s lightweight and compact. But it’s also extremely quick and fast - nothing slow or lagging in the OS and various apps.
My first chrome book. This little guy screams. And is fun.Windows never again - buy a computer and one software glitch and you are out $500.Google wins!
I,ve ordered lots of them over the past years this is the slightly older model a new version is out now but theres no difference in this one and the newer model. This model is now a lot cheaper so a good deal
Does the job. There are bigger, brighter and faster Chromebooks that also cost more money. I wanted something compact, light and cheap that would still do the job. Nice little computer.
Just as described
Purchased for my 9 year old in March 2017. It performs as expected. No complaints. The device is perfect for a student, as it gives them the access to Google docs and the…
great laptop for my child, looking forward to all they can do during the summer.
it seems to be a very sturdy computer compared to my last one. Good picture, worth purchasing.
Excellent computer… if you are into chromebooks.
For a non touch screen laptop it performs really well.
Not a big fan of the Lenovo N22, in fact, I returned it. Had it for a couple of weeks and the whole time it kept losing connection to my internet.
Works well for purpose intended.
I am pleased with this purchase. It is what I needed and met my expectations.
