43UJ6300

Needed an upgrade for my 7yr old HDTV and decided to get the 43UJ6300. Going from my old tv to this one is like night and day. I have an Xbox One S and after I turned on the HDR in the settings Mass Effect Andromeda looks AMAZING!! I’ve watched some 4K videos on youtube and it feels like you are there in the video. I highly recommend this tv for anyone looking to upgrade to 4K. I do have one regret, I wish I’d purchased the 49 inch version but it’s cool. If you’re looking for an entry level 4KTV at a great price I would give this tv a chance. I think you will be very pleased. I know I am!!

Good Entry Level 4k TV

I purchased this through another retailer simply since it was in stock and easier to handle then hoping to wait for a delivery. This is my first 4k TV that I picked up solely because I had recently also picked up an Xbox One S, so I figured, why not see what 4k was all about. On its own, I will say its interface takes getting used too. There is no manual to quickly orient you with the functions, so for some this may be a sticking point, but overall it is not that hard to find everything once you start navigating the menus. It quickly and easily hooked up to my wifi and both my Xbox and PS4. The Xbox did all the hard work for me in recognizing the TV as 4k and adjusting as such. You will need to tweak picture settings, like all Tvs to your liking. Other than that it works great, even the apps on it load fast and are even more responsive than on my Xbox which I use heavily for streaming as well as gaming. While gaming I do use the Game Mode on the TV, which in my opinion makes the picture darker than it needs to be (this can be tweaked), but I didn’t find this to be a bad thing while playing Overwatch to test it. If anything it makes the lighting seem more realistic.Do note, TURN OFF ENERGY SAVING. This is on automatically even in Game Mode and it darkens the screen terribly and washes everything out. Also, with at least my Xbox as a 4k player, you will need to turn off the TruMotion that is automatically on, unless you like the “Soap Opera Effect”. Which sometimes I like, but in movies with heavy CGI, it looks quite terrible.Overall a good entry level 4k TV with decent sound (speakers are underneath the TV) and good picture. It could use a better remote and stand, but I wont knock any points off for that, since that too is also personal preference.

This tv is amazing. Everything has worked great on it

This tv is amazing. Everything has worked great on it. The picture is perfect and has a good bit of options for apps to watch different things on such as Netflix and Hulu.

Decent TV for the price

This is a great TV. It was a replacement for a 40” Mitsubishi TV in the master bedroom. Picture quality is great and the price was right. Only let down is that 3 months earlier I bought the 55” LG OLED TV for our family room and their was a little disappointment after that picture quality and the Smart Remote.

60Hz not really 120Hz Refresh

60Hz truely and it shows when gaming the motion blur is bad on this tv when upscaling 1080p content was mislead by its “120hz effective” claim if you ever gamed in 120hz dont ever step down to 60hz its very noticeable. That said its seems to be a great TV easy to set up and use Great picture quality. Just not great for gaming what so ever sadly.

LG Electronics 65UJ6300 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD…

Well I love it, but what do I know? The colors seem a bit bright and I am aware of the different settings available on the unit.
