Man, I was on the fence for the longest time, but when I saw that the price had dropped from $29,999.99 to $29,997.00 I was all over it. In fact, I bought two so that I could hook them up to my PC and play the original Doom with dual screens.My wife (now ex wife … sniff) filed for divorce and took the house after I was adjudicated to be incompetent to manage my own affairs or look after our children. Thankfully, however, I was able to fashion a rudimentary lean-to capable of shielding me from the elements by slightly angling the two televisions. Electricity is hard to come by, but as I lay down on the cold pavement beneath the freeway underpass that has become my home I am able to visualize the beautiful, perfect clarity and deep blacks through the tears that pour from my weeping eyes.
Worth exhausting my kids college fund.
So I’m a single dad who gets custody of my kids on the weekend. I was always considered the cool parent and was able to convince my ex to give me access to their college fund so I can add to it. Well I asked my kids (one 4 and one 5 years old) whether they wanted to go to boring college or GET A BRAND NEW TV! My wife took back custody of the kids as a side effect but hey, I get this bad boy all to my self. Now I can hook up my NES as play as many high def 180p games as I want!!! Best decision ever.

Great tv for road trips! Every time we went sight seeing we would snap a picture and display it on the 77 inch in all of its 4K/HDR glory. We would be in the woods watching “I Love Lucy” reruns and next thing you know the animals are joining in for some 4K fun! What a blast! My only problem is I thought I saw a dead pixel but it was actually a squirrel lol. Don’t know how I mixed that one up! Either way if you haven’t looked under the couch cushions in awhile, see if you can scrounge up some extra change and pick this bad boy up!

You may not know this but this is actually a real life transformer. So everyone making fun of the price should be ashamed of themselves. 20 grand to protect an alien race that has been pushed into hiding. That’s cheap. They should honestly charge more for the honor and oppertunity.
Better Than a Pony!
My husband bought this TV in order to watch his favorite reruns of Who’s the Boss. Consequently, after our divorce (irreconcilable differences), this TV was part of my settlement, and I simply cannot be happier with it. With this TV, I now have the ability to switch off individual pixels rendering the blacks truly black. As a child, I always dreamt of having a pony, but now I have something much better - something even more expensive and less practical - the LG Electronics 77EG9700…on which I watch my favorite shows, Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right.
Can see it from miles away!
We used the proceeds from our Cub Scout popcorn sale and a loan from the Girl Scouts to purchase one of these to watch our pinewood derby races on. It worked great, so great in fact that folks didn’t even need to come to the event because they could watch from their houses. Unfortunately we were going to use the proceeds from the food stand at the race to help pay off the Girl Scouts, but we ended up losing money at the food stand because we had to throw out most of the food. So if you see a bunch of Cub Scouts this weekend selling Thin Mints, you know why.
