LG Electronics LAS751M Sound Bar (2015 Model) with Google Cast. Wireless Subwoofer. : LG Music Flow Compatible and Bluetooth.
Not great, but a very good sound bar. This is my second LG and once it was placed and configured properly it sounds pretty good (I was an audio engineer). If you research a lot you may find a sound bar that is a little bit better, but this one works fine for me.You’re never (imo) going to get good high-quality professional component sound and audio presence out of ANY sound bar, but I have a small place / limited space, my “ear” isn’t what it used to be, so this one does a decent job for the money.
I bought this to do surround sound with two H3 wireless speakers. The soundbar regularly loses connection to the remote speakers and requires re syncing. I have this optical cabled to my LG smart tv and it still disconnects from the tv on occasion. Sound sync from LG is flawed in that it disconnects or worse, sends a delayed signal to the remote speakers that results in an echo. I often wind up turning the remote speakers down or off to use this system.Sound is good when it works but it doesn’t work often enough to make it a bad buy. I would return it but waited past the time as I gave it as a gift to my wife. Very unhappy with this purchase. If it had been a cheap speaker set I would be less disappointed, but this was a premium price and I expected a premium product. It does turn on and off with the LG tv remote but occasionally gets wonky and even that has to be reset.I haven’t tried streaming music to the speakers, but the app itself continues to lose connection to the speakers even with strong wifi signal.
Product sounds good.As someone says it has Bluetooth connection issues. It gets statics. In order to bypass that, use the optical cable to listen to the TV at a great quality. Also, download to your phone/tablet the music Flow app, in that way you will able to download the new firmware (that helps with the Bluetooth) and to listen to the music from you phone/tab over the wifi and not over the Bluetooth. For couple with an LG TV it’s pretty valid.
Works good. Didn’t sound as amazing as a similarly priced Samsung one or as loud. It definitely has Bluetooth issues. Like Bluetooth is unusable. Hopefully it is just a software update that will fix it. The google cast is cool. When it works. I can’t always find it on my apps that have it.Conclusion: wait a little bit until they fix the issues with this…
It doesn’t crank up as much as I would like. My previous Samsung sound bar had bigger sound. But it looks good and does sound good.
Overall, soundbar has been pretty good. I also own an LG tv and setup was almost non-existent. Awesome to be able to wirelessly play music from my phone at anytime. Have had to reset it a couple times. Thats the reason for the 4 stars,
Works great
Bought two. One of them was not compatible with my Sony TV, whether I used Wi-Fi or the fiber optic. Otherwise, it sounds pretty good.
No problem with product or shipment.
Really good sound quality, pice little high but good.
OK, I got a good deal on the LG LAS751M soundbar and a pair of H5 room speakers that I’m using as surrounds through LG’s Music Flow system.
Great product
I purchased the OLED 65” 4K television and thought that LG makes similar products in quality like their TV. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this sound bar.
This unit produces enough sound to fill almost any room. NOW for the BAD news. This sound system does not play the higher pitches at all.
