Worked perfectly with LG 55EG9100

Bought this mount for use with the LG Electronics 55EG9100 55-Inch 1080p Curved Smart OLED TV (2015 Model)It is designed to work with a number of LG curved TVs. It is very solidly built. As mentioned by others it is meant to be installed on walls with 16” stud spacing or masonry/cement walls. If you don’t want your TV mounted with the absolute center between two studs then you either need to get your own drywall anchors and screws or reinforce the wall with additional lumber before installing the mount. If you’re installing this on masonry it can be positioned wherever you want very easily.Note that the mount is positioned near the bottom of the TV. I would recommend waiting to get the TV and measuring the distance between the bottom TV mount screw location and the bottom of the TV before attaching the mount to your wall.

Excellent mount for LG’s OLED

This is the only wall mount that will work with LG’s awesome OLED. Fortunately, this is a decent mount that articulates some back and forth and allows movement side to side and tilt. It’s design also allows the tv to sit very flat against the wall and also pulled away to access wires and the back of the panel.After installation I highly recommend loosening the Allen screws a little which allow the panel to articulate away and towards the wall. Once the tv is installed, it may be hard to articulate the tv away/towards the wall without applying a lot pressure against the panel to move it.

Came Super Slippery, Does What It’s Supposed To. Hate That it’s Not Universal.

It fits my 65EF9500 (obviously) and is a sturdy mount, but really that’s all I like about it. First of all, it came with some kind of a lotion/cream/lubricant all over it, making it extremely slippery and difficult to deal with. Not ideal when the mount is heavy and you have to hold it up.In order to have my TV perfectly centered on the wall, which was a requirement for me, the stud spacing would need to be perfect. It wasn’t, of course. So I decided to take the easy route and use wood to secure it. So basically I attached wood cross beams into the studs, then added the mount onto the wood. It worked fine and definitely is secure.The problem is that it kind of defeated the whole purpose of the “slim mount” with a low profile. the wood is only an inch thick and the mount is about another inch or so, but the mount is also limited by the thickness of your cables running behind it (I have outlets/conduit built into the wall). All told, my TV is about 4 inches from the wall.Not ideal, but what can you do? I hate that this TV wasn’t VESA universal-sized, but I can’t knock the score of the mount itself since technically it does what it’s supposed to. I took off the one star for the ridiculous amount of lotion that was on the thing. Whoever packed it must have very soft hands.

So close, yet so far…

OK, this mount is a serious piece of kit, but with some significant oversites. First, the wall brackets are only designed for 16” OC studs. If you have a newer home with 19.5” OC interior walls, you are SOL. Second. The mount doesn’t allow much side to side movement so unless you have two studs whose center point is close to where you want the center of the TV, you are SOL. What LG SHOULD have done is designed much longer wall brakets and the ability to move the TV bracket in either direct on the wall bracket, like other TV wall mounts are designed. This would result in a 5 star rating.Since my 65LG9500 is light, I used four of the wood screws thru the center of the bracket into a single stud and then used four 100 lbs capacity sheetrock anchors at the four corners. Given the light weight of this set, it will take a tornado to pull the TV of the wall.

LG Wall Mount

I had this wall mount professionally installed because of the heavy TV set that had to be removed before this mount and the new LG TV and wall mount could be installed. The LG mount is very nice and we are happy with it. The only slight fault that we found with is that it did not articulate (swing out) very far but it was far enough to access all the rear connections.

This mount is outstanding for the new lg oled 9600 TV 55 inch curve . If your wondering will you have room behind your tv for connection of cables HDMI etc after you wall mount it, the answer is yes. It afford you plenty of space to do so. It is able to be pulled out and tilted up and down and adjust left and right I highly recommend this mount if you are the proud owner of one the new lg oled curveTV set 55 inch or 65 inch

Easy to install and looks great!!!

Frustrated at first when I found out you cannot use a “STANDARD” TV wall mount with the new LG OLED TV. However, after purchasing this wall mount for my new TV I am totally impressed. Easy installation (according to professional contractor) and my 65 inch TV looks great on the wall. Thanks to Amazon Prime for their super fast delivery. My wall amount arrived the day before the professional contractor came to the house to install my TV’s. Definitely recommend this wall mount.

Installation was easy with the provided template

Installation was easy with the provided template. If you want to position the TV at exact height (e.g. over a fireplace mantel), you will have to measure the distance between the location where the bracket attaches to the TV and the bottom side of the TV (where the joystick is) and take that into account when placing the template on the wall. This bracket works out of the box for walls w/ studs 16” apart!Once the bracket is installed, attaching the TV set is a breeze. You will need somebody to help you though or you may damage the set.The bracket is solid and a very slim profile.

LG curved OLED tv’s require specific mounts and for mine this one was it. Worth the money and is definitely the nicest mount I’ve ever worked with.

Very good mounting bracket

Very good mounting bracket.. is expensive but it’s the only one that worked with my OLED tv.. good for multiple viewing angles .. to flush to the wall , excellent product!

Sanus Wall Mount
