Specially designed to give you easy access to the shutter button and camera ports in multiple mounting configurations.
Low Profile Helmet Swivel Mount for HERO Session cameras is a versatile, low-profile mounting option from GoPro. The combination of the Low-Profile Frame and Swivel Mount gives you a wide range of rotate and pivot motion. Capture forward- or rear-facing videos and photos with a simple twist and turn.
If you plan to capture video of riding motorcycles, or mounting to a helmet for any reason, you need this mount, period.
So the 3M adhesive stick on pad has held on at high highway speeds with no problem, you can definitely trust this thing! The mount itself is like any other go pro accessory, it has the screw and the cradle seems to be of great quality again haven’t had a problem since mounting it on and don’t foresee one happening anytime soon. Having the camera mounted to your helmet is surprisingly steady, whether it’s my go pro 5 hero session with stabilize ability or if it’s just smoother than I expected all together. The locking hatch is very tight and secure. The top button is accessible although the back on button is not accessible while locked in the cradle. No biggie I use my phone as the controller anyhow via the app. I highly recommend this and have already had a few friends grab them as well after seeing mine and how it performs!
The frame is weak it broke from removing the camera to charge in less than two months. Never dropped
Adjust camera angle on the fly! The real value of this became quite apparent after a semi smashed a lens on my session and I had numerous shots ruined by dead bugs. This mount allows you to TURN THE CAMERA AROUND so its protected when its not being used. For that feature its well worth every penny.
PERFECT for a motorcycle helmet. Doesn’t stick out too far, and easy to pivot to capture cars both beside you as well as behind you!
Perfect helmet mount. Love it! I use this snowboarding and the swivel is tight enough that the Hero doesn’t move an inch even when landing off a big kicker.
It fits the need for the mount but I think I got a defective one. The frame seems to be smushed towards one side, giving it more of a diamond shape instead of a square shape. This means I have to actully shove the GoPro into it since it won’t slide like the standard frame. A bit annoying.
Much higher quality and lower profile than the cheap Chinese mounts on here or ebay. Worth the extra money.
me encanto nicee
Like fits good
Broke after a few weeks of use. A thin part of the frame that’s closest to the locking lever broke, and a few minutes later the other side broke. it’s just too thin in parts.
Used it for about 3months and the frame broke because it’s constructed so poorly. Save your money and buy an aluminum one unless you like wasting money
Best chin mount for motorcycle helmet that iv found so far.
Honestly, I’m disappointed. There are no instructions at all with this kit. I can go online, of course, and find something, but I’m old school – EVERY product should come with…
The standard GoPro helmet mount with a frame for the sessions. What more do you expect? If you need something heavy duty, look elsewhere, but this is plenty for normal usage.
Haven’t used it yet. Though it looks very well built.
Just what I needed for my motorcycle helmet
