Include scales on the bottom of the ski to enable traction in the snow
The Lucky Bums Kids Beginner Snow Ski set is the ideal introduction to skiing for those 4 and under. With a rugged design including flexible bindings, scales on the bottom of the skis, and attached straps to ensure a secure fit, these 70cm plastic skis enable kids to get used to wearing skis in the snow and an introduction to the sliding sensation. The bindings allow for heel lift making these plastic skis with no metal edges the ideal first pair of skis for kids just learning to walk all the way up to 4 years old. Limited lifetime warranty against material or workmanship defect.
My 2 year old loved these skis!!! They are step in style and accommodate regular snowboots (she’s a toddler shoe size 5, will have room to grow). There is a heel cup that the snow boot is positioned within, and then 2 straps that are adjusted to hold the boot in place. She stayed clipped in the whole time. There is a small circular opening at each tip, perhaps for a bungee/tether to keep them together and in wedge position. We used these on a kids “adventure center” learning slope, and I held my daughter as we rode the magic carpet. They are 100% plastic, do not have any type of metal edge like normal skis, so probably wouldn’t try on more difficult terrain but absolutely perfect for working on standing balance, sliding her skis forward, and just introducing to skiingREAD MORE
As long as you know what you are receiving, you will be happy with them. If you are expecting some big fancy carve down the hill ski, this isn’t it. What it is, it basically a training ski that will probably be dinged up quickly along the way but will serve its purpose well.READ MORE
These are great skis. What these skis are for: getting your toddler comfortable in the snow, and feeling included when Mommy and Daddy have their skis on. This is to set the appetite for real skiing down the road.I’m a bit surprised at reviews expecting these to be serious downhill skis. You probably aren’t likely to find anything good at this price. These skis fit their purpose wonderfully for us: our 21-month-old son loved being able to put on his skis and stomp around on the snow for a while.READ MORE
These are not nearly as great as I expected them to be and not as sturdy as the white, longer skis from this brand. The bottoms have too much plastic and there is little to no edge. I would only recommend buying these at a much lower price. Another problem is that the straps to the skis get in the way of the child using them.READ MORE
These are perfect for my 2 1⁄2 year old - they give her a sense of what having ‘boards’ attached her feet feels like, and she loves sliding across the living room rug…so far, she hasn’t been willing to try them in the snow…but baby steps, people!READ MORE

Great for the younger ones in your family. The 2-4 year olds loved them and even skied down the hills with parents help. Great for getting them used to being on skis, they even loved to wear them out in the yard.READ MORE
These are nicer than I expected. A good introduction for a small child to the sport of skiing without a huge investment.READ MORE
Make sure you realize these are not for really tiny people. I got these for my son and they are about the right size for him to try but his little tiny feet won’t fit.
Perfectly good pair of kids’ introductory / play skis. They seem sturdy enough.
Just as described. A perfect beginner ski to practice ground work.
Been using these skis for two winters. Looking forward to one more season with them.
Great for a beginner. The best pet is you can use the snow boots you own with these. No need to rent expensive ones
Perfect size for a new walker.
