Worst smelling Lysol ever!

Worst smelling Lysol ever! I ordered this while out of town because we were all coming home sick after the holidays and I wanted something to kill the flu germs we’d be spreading around our house. I went by the assumption that ‘Baby’s Room’ would be softer scent. What a mistake! Unfortunately, this scent is so overwhelming, I can’t be in the same room it was used in without getting getting nauseous. I’m not typically sensitive to smells, I can use bleach cleaner without the bathroom exhaust fan on and I’m fine, yet THIS Lysol scent makes me gag and gives me a headache. It also lingers, strongly, for a really long time. I went to my local grocery store a few days after receiving this and sniffed the other 4 Lysol variants they had and every single one of them was a lighter and more pleasant smell then this. I bought a can of the original Lysol to replace this because it was more pleasant.

Sweet Scent

Although it smells nothing at all like anything to do with a baby,it still is a better scent than Crisp Linen. It is a very sweet scent and is slightly strong too. I still like it .However , if you are anticipating a powdery clean baby johnsons kind of a scent then this is not it. But still better and more tolerable. It does not make me sick like the Linen Scent and does not smell too chemical-ish too.

A Classic: It just works + the price is right

Lysol is a classic and nothing beats it for, say, deodorizing indoor pet accidents, to which my senior dog has regrettably become more prone. Also great for any damp spaces prone to mold, like under a sink. I really don’t want to know about the environmental consequences, thank you, although perhaps vinegar and baking soda might be more ecologically righteous. When used sparingly, I seriously doubt I am hastening Climate Change in any significant way–plus it doesn’t take much of the stuff to do the job.When ordered as an “add-on” with Amazon Prime, this large-sized aerosol canister–which I fully expect to be good for six months–is considerably cheaper than the same size from the supermarket.No, the scent is not my absolute favorite, but fortunately it and any offending odors dissipate quickly. Despite the wall-to-wall TV ads for all the new products promising to make housework ecstatic bliss, more and more I find myself returning to the very same classics my mother and grandmother used, neither of whom was inclined to waste either time or money on anything just because it was “new and improved.“IMO, this is a product that should be under everybody’s kitchen sink, along with Borax and Bon-Ami. One place I have yielded to the environmentalists is in drastically reducing my reliance on chlorine beach (aka “Clorax”) which really does do dreadful things to ecosystems when it leaches into the ground water. Actually one so seldom really needs it. For smelly stuff, there’s a light touch of Lysol and for disinfecting, hydrogen peroxide is nearly the equal of bleach and much more gentle on fabrics, plus w/ patience it’s nearly the equal for stain-lifting.

If you are sensitive to strong fragrances this Lysol may not be for you…

While this lysol spray has a lighter fragrance than the regular versions, it still has a very strong scent. Anyone that has a problem with strong fragrances will probably not be able to use this particular spray.For me and anyone else like me that needs little or no fragrance in their products this is a one star item. If you are not sensitive to strong fragrances, then this might be something you might want to try.Also, I think it smells too strong to use in the baby’s room.

Best smelling Lysol spray ever

I have been using Lysol sprays to disinfect tons of surfaces in my home for years, but since having kids I have been looking for one with a mild scent. Finally saw this product online and tried hard to find it in stores to no avail. Took a chance and purchased on Amazon (comparable price to other scents sold in stores) and LOVE IT. It’s really mild and the smell dissipates a lot quicker than the other scents.I now have been able to spray down the diaper pails in my kids room’s vs going to the garage. The scent is strongest the first 4-5 minutes and then diminishes killing all funky odors within 15 mins! I still don’t spray near the kids but at least I can now use this in their rooms without having to worry about the strong smell sitting around the whole day or me gagging while cleaning!

Not What It Says It Is

I specifically wanted to buy unscented Lysol spray because I’m very sensitive to smells and I bought it because it doesn’t say anywhere on the bottle it has any scent. AND IT DOES have scent just like any other Lysol that comes with a scent. I am NOT happy with this product.

Disinfects without strong scent

Our doctor told us to use Lysol all over the house when my toddler got pinkeye, which is highly contagious. My husband and I really don’t like strong scents, so we hesitated in buying this. The “baby room” scent was the closest we were able to find to unscented and did a great job disinfecting the room. We were able to contain the pinkeye because of this–no one else in the house got sick.If you are looking for a product to disinfect, whether baby’s room or not, and you do not want a strong scent, I definitely recommend the Lysol disinfectant spray for baby’s room.

STRONG SMELL

the smell is VERY STRONG, i sprayed lightly over a small surface and i had to go in another room, for a “baby’s Lysol ” i don’t recommend unless you leavr all the”Windows open and evacuate the area, i sprayed hard surfaces while my kids are asleep, it’s winter time so i can’t open the Windows and let me say, I AM COUGHING, it’s been about 20 minutes, i don’t recommend for using while anyone is around or in the winter when you can’t open the door

Before I didn’t find a lot of online stores, can find what I want in the amazon, it is very nice.This product is exactly what I want, just did not expect to find here, cheap and good quality.
