The game play on this is wild. You have so many options on what path you want to take whether it’s as a coach (you control every aspect of the game), quarterback (traditional game play), or as a receiver (only play offensively). It’s a lot of fun. My only complaint is that with all these new options, getting familiar with the games takes some time.
Worth my money
I bought it as a bday gift and it was listed kn the deal of the day for 20 bucks vs the 59.99 id have to pay in store. For the money, it was totally worth the purchase and an awesome birthday gift.
Unlike previous PS4 versions it finally feels like I’m playing Madden on PS4 instead of PS3.
A little glitchy with ai movement between plays but it’s no big deal. My favorite Madden game in years. Best Franchise mode since the ps2 days in my opinion. Awesome soundtrack.

Past ones are better
It’s Madden, you expect the same game year in and year out. My issues are with the clunky gameplay, the strange glitches and the constant injuries and penalties in franchise mode. Running the ball is almost laughable. You can’t smoothly move around offensive lineman like you could in past games. You just run in place if you get stuck behind one. Forward progress does not exist in this game, it’s terribly flawed, the ball placement is. Every other play is offensive holding and I’m not exaggerating. I like the off the field franchise mode mechanocs, but all in all I this it’s a show pony game with gameplay issues. I’ve enjoyed older ones much more than this. Also the soundtrack is a dumpster fire, if you care about that.

#1Reveiws - Let get those short attention span people out the way rating 7.9. I am a 2k5 guy and probably always will be because it done so much really well so many years ago. So I been playing the first madden in about 5 years, I’m playing with my created player and I love this game but their is one thing that has been pissing me off. Now twice in the two days I have had this game and after the big update this game keeps crashing and usually when my creator is killing it on the field. it’s crashing when going back to the main hud after the game. This is why it’s getting a 3 stars the games is really good the on field action is great it feel and look good but if this problem continues it will destroy a great game from EA. The one thing I like about this game is that it plays less like an actual madden game weird I know but I love how it is playing. The new commentary is awesome love it talking about things that are currently happening in the nfl. Hope-full next year they can have it talk about the career or game or the week happening like people injured or suspension tailored to the career or game your playing.Graphics: 9 - Looks Great.Audio: 9.5 - Commentary is Awesome love it. the on field sounds good as ever.Control: 9 - Controls feel good I like the 2k5 style boost where it runs out over time so it forces you to pick your spots.Game-play: 3 - Will stay a 3 until they fix the crashing issues which is sad because it a really good game and the feel is less madden like which is plus for me being a 2K5 guy.Career: 9 - So far so good, Love the skip to my pay time mode they took from MLB.Conclusion: Fix the crashing and this game would be good to go. Would probably be the best madden in years that actually does things better the 2K5 and feel less like madden at the same time.

Terrible
The balls like kickballs. The receivers drop at least 50% if the catches. The players play stiff & blocky. There’s no difference in speed.
