The case came with holes drilled, so it seems that the issue other commenters were concerned about has been fixed. However, I was not able to get the WiFi dongle to work. It was recognized when I did lsusb, but in the GUI it said no interfaces connected. I swapped in another dongle (another Realtek variant) that I had on a RP2 I run retropie on and it worked right away. I tried the original dongle in my working RetroPie and it is now bricked. Not 100% sure if that’s related and more troubleshooting is needed there, but it’s pretty clear at this point that the dongle does not work either way.Edit- So the RetroPie is working again. It was the “White Screen of Death” that was fixed by changing the theme in Emulation Station. Not sure why it decided to lock up right as I changed the hardware, but whatever. Still can’t get the dongle to work right.Post-New-WiFi-Edit- So contacted the seller and they replaced the WiFi dongle without any issue. Good customer service!
Use for my Pi zero. I needed a Mini HDMI, got so much more!Pros: Price, and components. For the price, you get the adapters you need for your $5 PI, plus the headers and Micro USB and SDcard. No charger. I did not need the Micro USB charger, I have multiple cables around the house.Cons: None yet.
The case pieces don’t have the holes drilled in them to screw together…dissaponted that both sets I ordered were that way.
No USB hub. I really needed the product to meet a deadline and now I am stuck. The items appear to be OK quality but my kit had no USB hub so I can’t use it at all. This is a big mistake so I would go with another company if I were you. Price is nothing if 1⁄8 of your kit doesn’t arrive.
Everything I needed to get my Pi-zero working. The OTG USB-Hub is especially nice. The network dongle is based on a Realtek chip set (RTL8188CUS) which is recognized by Raspbian out of the box. However the Raspbian driver is buggy and will not recover from a sleep causing the network connection to eventually be lost. There are several fixes that can be found online for this problem. Not an issue for the new Pi-zero W which has wifi built-in. All-in-all a good value.
They sent me a bad case without holes. I did not want a case so I didn’t complain. THEN they sent me a new case without telling me. It just showed up.
Original shipment didn’t have the MicroSD card, but after communicating this to the seller, they sent me one which arrived about two weeks later.I find with the newest Pi Device, I really didn’t need the multi-port hub adapter because it does have bluetooth built into the device itself which I was able to utilize for a wireless keyboard. Otherwise, the best of the parts work as advertised.
I purchased 3 of these kits and the cases are completely useless. There are no holes drilled in the cases so it is impossible to assemble the cases without attempting to drill your own holes in the case. Very disappointed.
Bought it mainly for the “white” GPIO pinout info against a dark acrylic color like in the product photo.
This is a pretty solid little case. I added some nuts between the pi and the top cover to relieve some of the pressure it was putting on components, but otherwise nicely made.
Very cheap chinesse products
Not a bad product and comes in.very handy.
A well done minimalist case. It provides easy access to the pins and I/O ports, as well as a quick pinout reference. Exactly what I was looking for.

Perfect
Case have no holes
great price for this package.
comments powered by DisqusGood little case. Just be careful with the plastic used to connect the two pieces together. They bend/break pretty easily.
