Too Big for the G9X

This pouch is a bit too big for the Canon G9X (the camera it is marketed as being designed for), in my opinion. That’s odd, because I have the G7X, too, and the MegaGear pouch for that camera, which is anything but loose. In fact, the G7X pouch is quite snug. I would not buy this again.UPDATE: I compared the two cases I have (the one I just got for the G9X Mark II and another for the larger G7X). While they are sold via separate pages on Amazon and have different item numbers, they are basically identical. I feel this is a bit dishonest. They’re marketing these as if they’re two different cases, each tailored to a different camera, when they actually seem to be identical. So the case is snug (some would say a bit too snug) on the G7X and too big for the G9X. Annoying.

Nice size, a bit expensive

This is a nice size that works both for my camera (Canon G9X) and for my handheld GPS (Garmin Oregon 450). In fact, I can’t decide which to use it for. There’s a bit of a lip on top, which gives it more coverage but also catches the camera’s protruding lens ring slightly, so I think the GPS unit will win out. It’s somewhat pricey, but it’s getting harder and harder to find what I want – a neoprene case with a velcro closure. A zipper takes too long to open when I’m fumbling for my camera, and I don’t like zipper teeth scraping my devices. So, if that’s what you’re shopping for, this is a good one.

Cheap, cheap, cheap. Amazed that they charge $20 for this product when it seems like only .02 of materials and workmanship went into it. Very disappointed and it went back.

Not snug on g9x mk ii

This is a great neoprene case, but it’s not as snug as you might expect for a case specifically marketed for the g9x.
