and I liked it a lot

My sister has this floor brush, and I liked it a lot. I have the other version, which never actually sat flat on the floor, so while it did a good job, it was not the best option. So I finally bought this one.This unit sits flat on the floor, and does a very good job cleaning. I have a lower end Miele vacuum and this brush seems to improve the cleaning ability of the vacuum. Yes, the bristles need to be cleaned more often, but to me, that means that the brush is picking up more of the dust that is lying on the floor.There is more ease of movement with this brush. It pivots, easily and gets into spots that I had trouble reaching with my other brush. The only bad comment I have for this brush is the front to back width of it. That prevents it from getting into a few places that my other floor brush did. Now I use my duster brush for those spots. This is a minor issue to the overall advantages of this brush.With my other brush, I had to run my Swiffer to pick up the remaining dust layer. Don’t have to do that now.

A must have!

I was hesitant to purchase this additional floor tool but was having trouble with the one that came with my new Miele canister vacuum. The machine’s suction is so strong I was having trouble sliding the standard floor tool across my wood floors. I would have to set the suction control to very low so the tool that came with it would not stick to the floor which defeated the whole purpose of my wanting this vacuum. After reading the good reviews I decided to purchase the Parquet Floor Brush. It is fantastic! The long bristles allow it to easily slide across the floor even when I have the suction set on max! It gets into corners well and fits easily under furniture. They should include this one with the machine instead of the chintzy one they do include.

I love the Parquett Twister!

I LOVE this. It works so well with my Miele. In fact, it works better than the other attachments that came with the Miele vacuum. The only con is that I can’t get it completely flat to go under some things. If Miele could work on the top portion of the base so that it does not go up quite so high (like one inch or inch and a half instead of three), in order for it to go flat under things like buffets and china cabinets, it would be amazing!

Perfect tool for hard floors, better than the combination tools.

I have Miele’s premium AirTeQ tool with my Alize and debated whether I needed this Twister. I finally decided to get it to better get into tight spots. I wish I had not delayed my decision. Not only does it get in tight spots better but overall allows me to clean my hard floors much more quickly. It can suck up items like M&Ms on the floor as well as fine dust. When done using I detach from the hose and give the bristles a quick vacuum, which gets most of the collected dust off them. It really works great.

A “must-have” for floors

I know, I know - $69 looks like a lot to pay for a plastic floor tool - but if your Miele doesn’t already include this attachment and you have lots of tile or concrete flooring like I do - it really is worth it. Should it already be included with such expensive vacuums? I think so - but then perhaps everyone doesn’t have all the hard surfaces with pieces of furniture that must be gotten under as I do.This adds speed (cuz it’s big and hits more surface area with every swipe) and increased maneuverability (cuz it’s twisty) to your Miele canister vac. Is it absolutely necessary? Maybe not, but since you are shelling out a pretty penny anyway, you might as well make it the most effective it can be.I have used this tool pretty much exclusively on my Miele for over two years now and have had no problems at all. Do I play gently with my toys so they wear out less quickly? No. You may ask my long suffering mother and she will tell you all about it LOL. I don’t know how to account for the fact that I have not had the bad luck a few others here have.

Didn’t think I needed this…boy was I wrong!

Have had and loved the Miele Classic C1 for a couple years now. Used the basic attachment on my hardwood floors since day one. Purchased the Parquett Twister after reading other reviews but didn’t think I would notice much difference from the basic attachment. BOY WAS I WRONG!The Parquett Twister makes my weekly vacuum job even more of a breeze than before and is so much gentler on my hardwoods. Glad I took the plunge and made this purchase.

Just what I was looking for!

Fits perfectly on my Miele Classic C1 Delphi! I have very light-colored cream carpet upstairs and hardwood floor downstairs and do not want to use the same head in case the dirt from hardwood floor get transferred to the carpet. The Delphi comes with an electric rotary brush head that I use for the carpet and this non-rotary head is perfect for the hardwood floor.

PERFECT for hardwood floors. Not good if you have animal hair to cope with.

This is my second one of these. They’re hands-down the best attachment for hard-wood floors. I also find it works very well on my flat-weave carpets / kilims.These have no wheels. The brush is supported by a skirt of bristles, which is why they glide so effortlessly on hardwood floors. But of course, if you have animal hair in your house, it will get into the bristles. All the negative reviews seem to comment on this. I find it rather obvious.

This is the perfect size for us large enough to do a whole room but small enough to get around things. And in case anyone was wondering it fits my upright miele perfect!
