As advertised

After I plugged this into my macbook and put in a usb and my charger it started making a constant whining noise that was extreme

Unfortunately, I don’t know why this has 5 stars. I was looking for a cheaper alternative for my macbook instead of what apple offered in store and thought this one would work given the reviews. After I plugged this into my macbook and put in a usb and my charger it started making a constant whining noise that was extremely annoying. On top of that my macbook does not charge as quickly as when it is connected directly to the charger. I understand there can be some delay, but this one makes that delay too apparent. I would not recommend this adapter.

Broke after 1 month

I was getting pretty annoyed with the lack of ports on my air, and a friend mentioned that I could get an adapter for it. Sure enough, a quick search on amazon and I found this bad boy. Not only can I now charger my computer at the same time as using a USB port, but I can also put my computer on to my TV with the HDMI port. Instead of watching videos on my computer, I can now enjoy them on my TV in my room too. Well built device and would recommend it to anyone needing its capabilities.update 7.6.17About 1 month of using this it stopped working and will not put anything to my TV. Thought it was my hdmi cord but it was not as I bought a new one and it still didn’t work. Waist of money wish I didn’t order this one.
