This monocular has some obvious cosmetic issues. As some have pointed out, the compass and Panda brand name are cheap little things glued onto the rubbery casing, and look like they’ll fall off pretty quickly. Also, mine says “35x50” above the eyepiece, which would normally mean 35x magnification and a 50mm objective lens, though it gives 10x magnification, and the lens measures 40mm across. That is the magnification I was expecting, and wanted, but the lens having less than 2⁄3 the expected size and light grasp bothers me, and it being mislabeled like that is a little annoying.Other than that, it’s fine. The 10x40 optics aren’t bad, and the hardware for taking pics with a cellphone seems very handy. If I’d known that it was 40mm I’d have bought something else, but most buyers probably won’t care.
Very good quality scope. I’m very pleased because I figured at this price range the optics would be mediocre. The focus knob is mis-marked. It reads “35x50” but this is NOT a 35 power scope. 8x or 10x is much more accurate.Do yourself a favor… feed the lanyard through the eyepiece cover so it doesn’t get lost. The front lens cover is attached, as per the photo.
After trying out the monocular I was really impressed with the scope. The clarity is amazing,it’s very easy to focus and lightweight. It’s surprising how much detail you can see from hundreds of yards away from an object. It is an excellent product at a fantastic price. Will be using mine for sports events, hiking and birdwatching.Highly recommend!
I like this because they are smaller than binoculars and fit well in my tactical vest.
OK, but don’t expect too much.Compare with the price I give it 3 stars. In a 50 yard range, it is very difficult to see the hole on target,So, i go to Big 5 to buy a 30 dollar telescope use in the 50 yards shooting range without any question.$10 more, result completely different.
Nice small monocular. The attachment for a cellphone/camera is a nice touch. So far it’s been fun for bird and animal watching around the house.
Perfect for watching all the wildlife here in Colorado!
I tried this off my deck I could see very well into the woods. The price this product is wonderful. I’m very glad with my purchase in my opinion unbeatable price and quality.
Tripod is a bit weak. Not top of the line, but great for the price.
It”s the old adage come true “you get what you pay for” These were not much money and they are not very good.
I haven’t tried the product yet, but I was dispointed when I opened the package. It seemed the binoculars have been used. It had dust and sand on the cover & stain on phone holder.
very nice
