Narrow field of view
The picture quality was outstanding, and the small size is great. But, the field of view angle was way too narrow. I saw no information on this spec. Also, the motion detection range was significantly less than the 60’ as advertised. I will be returning this camera and looking for another.UPDATED REVIEW… After my initial review and disappointment with this camera, I continued to play with it and move it around, however places to mount it as to get the coverage I needed are limited. I was able to find a use and I am upgrading my initial review of a 3 to a 4. This is because the field of view is still narrower than I had hoped for, or world like.
Great wildlife/security camera
Great camera. We have 3 of these around the house after someone stole a propane tank from our property. I check them every few days now because the wildlife is amazing! I like the moon phase added to the camera. Had a full moon puma show up at 3:33 (Santa Cruz, CA area)! We also have a regular grey fox, and now I know it is him, and not my cat and another cat having a turf war leaving presents on my door mat and the driveway. Great cameras. Easy to use and set up. I wish that they didn’t have to be so far back to get the frame needed, but I think I’m just used to a nice pancake wide angle lens on my handheld camera. It took a couple mounting adjustments to get it in the right place but happy with the quality. You will see the red IR lights come on if you’re outside looking at it, at night when it is triggered. You tend to not see it unless you are looking right at it or near it. Animals don’t mind it seems, but if being stealthy from people is your goal you might want a “no-glow” version. Sometimes I get shots with nothing in the frame, and I think the animal has passed through already (a couple occasions of a tail or leg barely in the frame), so sometimes wish the reaction time was a little faster, but could probably fix with changing where the camera is mounted. I plan on getting 2-3 more to study the wildlife around the property.
Great price, Easy setup
Easy to use. Daytime pics are great, speed is a little slow. If you walk by it normally it may or maynot get you in the pic. Also the field of view is narrow, which is my biggest complaint.
Great value that is worth the investment.
Product arrived in original package and was in perfect condition. Setup was easy and I had the camera up and working in under 10 minutes. The instructions were clear as far as electronics, but after that you were pretty much on your own when it came to field setup. Luckily, we have pets and critters running amuck in our back yard. So, with only one night of watching house cats and squirrel, I think I know what height and distance to use in the woods. TIP: SPEND THE $10 AND BUY A CARD READER THAT PLUGS INTO YOUR PHONE. You can easily read the photos in the field with any of these. Photos were as good as other game cams, night photos a little grainy, but that is to be ecpected.

Takes great pictures. Only problem i have with it is at night the lights are pretty bright and can easly be seen. Think it might have been scarying the deer aways now due to the light as i have not seen as many as i have before the camera
i am really like them so far
these cameras are very sensitive to motion. i am really like them so far. hopefully they will stand up to the test of time. i like the battery compartments and that the lens and flash are self contained. helps to keep water and humidity out.
