Design flaw..

The mounting bracket that came with this shelf was insufficient. I ended up buying different shelving brackets to hold it up. The product comes with a bracket and screws/washers to hold it up. However, the washers are too small so the screws go right through the holes, therefore making them useless. Once I went and purchased bigger washers and got the thing mounted, the double sided tape they give you to attach the bracket to the glass gave way. If you’re going to buy this shelf, prepare to do some handy work and more shopping to get it to work.

Poor product

Very disappointed. Shelving brackets can barely hold up glass shelf with nothing on it. Shelf tilts down at about a 20° angle after installed. Screws and anchors that come with product are insufficient. Screwheads too small for holes and no washers are included with hardware. Had to buy my own screws and anchors. Not a good product, regret the purchase. Flimsy, don’t see how anybody could even put a cable box on it. Don’t waste your time buying

I put it together and it looked nice but the shelf does not hold the cable box …

I ordered this product back in march. I never got a chance to put it up because I just had a baby and my mind is all over the place. I woke up this morning and decided let me put the shelf up while I have the time. I put it together and it looked nice but the shelf does not hold the cable box up at all. Once I put the cable box on it the box starts sliding down. It was a waste of money. Since I waited so long to put it up I can’t return it and now I have 3 holes in my wall for nothing. I even tried to sit my little laptop on there once I realized the cable box wasn’t going to work and even that was a failure. Everything seems too heavy for the shelf.

Don’t purchase if you want to put much on these shelves.

We purchased to put cable box and DVR on two shelves mounted under the TV. This is advertised to hold up to 15 pounds. The cable box is under 5 pounds, and the shelf droops, pointing so far down that the box nearly falls off. These are not really made of metal that is sturdy enough to hold much, as the metal bends down with minimal weight placed on it. Couldn’t then return, as the anchors and nails are now in the wall, and adhesive tape is stuck to the glass.

This sucked to put it simply

This sucked to put it simply. The shelf can’t hold a blu-ray player that has HDMI or power supply plug into it. Essentially if you want to display your electronic devices, this if for you. If you want them to be connected to a TV or power source, then this is too short to accommodate you and not particularly strong.

Terrible quality!!

Purchased this shelf because it looked modern and not as bulky as similar shelves. However, I was very displeased with the quality of the product. There are only 2 strips of double sided tape holding the shelf up. Also the shelf does not account for the wires in the back of the cable box so it actually hangs about 2 inches off the edge. Being held by tape, I only imagine the weight of the cable box would eventually cause the shelf to fall.

Save your money and frustration…..

The arms that hold the glass shelve were bent downward. Had to use a vice grip to straighten them out so the shelf would sit flat.The anchors and screws provided were too small for the holes. The shelf pull right through.Had to purchase the correct size screws and anchors to make it work.

Love this shelf. Very simple to mount to the wall and the directv and dvd player fit fine on the shelf.
