Couldn’t get past the poor radar performance

Returned. Regardless of angles and distances placed per the instructions, it only picked up readings periodically. When it did, the readings were a bit random. I am assuming I may have just had a defect. I bought this one because a friend of mine has the version without the video recording features. His seems to work reliably and accurately. I sat this one next to his during a bullpen session and found the one I bought providing infrequent and inconsistent readings. Never did get to use the camera or wifi features. Couldn’t get past the poor radar performance. The product concept on this one is good. They may have gone a little cheap on the design, component selections or possibly the manufacturing process/supplier. Bummer.

Not ideal for evaluating a baseball/softball bat swing

I really, really wanted this to work. I bought it to videotape softball batting and clock the speeds the ball is coming off the bat. When placed in a low position in front of the batter (ideal for videotaping), the radar only measured the speed of the ball coming from the pitcher from behind going over it. When positioned behind the batter, we got readings that were a little better but still not that consistent (but the camera view was useless). When placed on the side of the batter slightly in front (decent video angle), it failed to record more than half of the hits. I think this would work great for pitching or behind a soccer goal, but not for evaluating a bat swing.

Lots of cool features! Worth it!

Love this product and all the features it has! I can now easily record, watch playbacks of all my practices and share on Facebook. So cool! And the radar is pretty darn accurate, as I matched it up with my pricey pocket radar. If you’re having problems with the Wifi feature, please watch this video -> […]. I could not get it working at all and thought it was defective, so I contacted their customer service. They were very responsive and knew right away I must have been doing something wrong. After a few minutes, I had the Wifi working and connected it to my phone.

Good for hockey.

I don’t know how accurate it is and I don’t really care. My son uses it to see how fast his hockey shots are. It gets him outside working towards a new “high score” instead of inside playing video games or watching TV. And best of all high shot has improved.

Works Perfectly!!

I use this to track the speed of cars in my neighborhood. It is great for catching speeders!

for fun

not super accurate but is still fun to play with friends

One Star

Doesn’t work on wifi.Returned the thing.

OMG wifi.

Either I received two defective units back to back, or the instructions are incorrect. To enable wifi:Hold video mode for 3 secs until “Rec” light is lit. CheckPress wifi and wifi light should be flashing. NO GOI can press until my finger falls off, tried short pushes too. That damn light is a dark as the instruction editor’s heart.I will have to return again.
