•We all know that Tungsten Carbide Rotary Burr is hard so now mostly the burrs in the market are dense and thick cutters. Because the wood’s fire point is low and its oiliness is heavy so when cutting and carving, it’s easy to get stuck if the temperature gets higher. And if the cutter slot is stuck, we need to wipe off the bits of wood by using needles, or else we will be slowed down if we don’t take care of the bits of wood. And finally it will lead to material scorched.

•By using the bigger cutters of tungsten carbide rotary burr, the above situation will not occur. The cutter’s angles have been dealt with to fit for woodworking.

Great Dremel Bit Set

This took a little while to receive. But, it was well worth the wait. The quality and workmanship is great. These bits are very sharp and there were no machine marks on the blades. They were cut and honed very well. These are a little larger than the typical dremel bit, not too large, just slightly larger. I would definitely buy them again.

Great Value Set

Shipping on these was within a few days so was very happy. Very good assortment of Bits. So far have only tried them on Basswood and Cherry relief engravings. They performed very well with Basswood, in fact they performed better than expected for the price.As for the Cherry, some of the bits struggled with the harder portions of the wood. I’m on my 5th piece and have only seen minimal drop off in performance and that’s in the one’s use the most.PROS- Great value, sharpness, variety, Nice beginner to mid-level set, Fits Dremel and other similar Rotary tools.Cons- #2 and #3 fine tip seemed out of alignment especially #2 which made it difficult to use. Received a replacement. Not the best for harder stocks.

Rips away wood quick and easy.

Bought these for my dremel and needed to shave wood off of my fence post so the gate would close right. Only used one bit as I was expecting to burn through a few of these just for this job. Job was complete with just that one bit and it never dulled. A lot cheaper than the dremel brand bits and just as strong and long lasting. I am happy with the purchase and will be ordering more once I wear these down.

First experience with carving. Set worked great

I am very happy with this set and ordering another by next week. I am new to carving, not to art. Actually used this on hardwood to test a few bits and believe me it works. I can just imagine how quick it will go once i get my Cypress knees dried. Hoping to also use this on gourds. Price was right for all these different burrs. Quality wise it feels and works great for me.I use a dremel and have the long extension for my dremel. Fits great since i do have different size collets/sleeves for my dremel. I am actually excited to go into another facet of art. Being money conscience i do appreciate the price and that the quality in my opinion did not suffer.

Great option without spending a lot of cash

Great option without spending a lot of cash. I work in a wood shop and do a lot of carving and these have held up through a lot of abuse. No need to buy expensive bits when these do the trick.

Would buy again

Not sure about the quality since these are the first bits I have bought and I only have one other set for engraving.They seem to be very good, I mostly use them for wood carving and have carved on anything from Poplar to Red Mahogany. After a few heavy uses on harder woods they seem to chip slightly but I have been pretty happy with them. Would buy again.

The shanks of the bits are not properly sized to fit Dremel EZ shank collet system. They slip inside the collet.
