Works Well, Charges Fast!

These are actually very good quality batteries for the price. I was able to record for over an hour and a half at high settings on my GoPro Hero 3+ with several starts and stops which typically drain batteries faster. The Newoma batteries work just as well as the stock GoPro batteries at a much lower cost, and the included charger works very well.I would definitely recommend these to anyone who uses their GoPro frequently, or for long periods of time throughout the day.These are a great value!

The seem to last as long as the OEM batteries. The charger will use either a micro USB or the trapezoid shaped connector. If you are charging three batteries at once I suggest that you use a 2.1 amp charger. Otherwise it may take forever and a day to charge three at once. I was able to use the 2.1 amp car charger I have with my phone’s charging cable with no problem. The cord stayed snug in the charger driving down bumpy roads.

Definitely a good purchase.

I bought this to replace an inexpensive 2 battery charger that shorted out from a static discharge, while on a trip of course. It was waiting for me when I got home. I placed all 3 of my batteries into this charger, and it worked right away. The fit is snug, so you don’t have to worry about the battery not being fully seated to get its charge. After the batteries are charged up, it turns off, and no current appears to be flowing. Really far better than I expected for as little as the cost is.

These batteries last longer than the original Hero 3 batteries (1300mAh vs 1050mAh), but not too much longer. This kit makes it really nice because you can charge everything at once and be set for a solid day of adventure. The USB charging is nice because I could just plug it into my iPhone wall charger and not have to carry around an entire extra plug.

Great Product

Works great. Much easier to use than the single wall chargers with the folding male plug in. Plus it charges three at a time and works well. Until now it had always been a hassle to find enough wall outlets to get all the batteries charged for the Gopros, lights, phones and IPads in the hotels. Two rapid chargers and one dual USB wall plug and six batteries charging at once from one plug.

Awesome charger!

It works great. Charges two batteries at once, shuts off when charged, charges third battery after the other(s) are completed, feels solid, and has a soft feel to the material. Like felt? I love it & recommend it. The USB cable is even longer than original GoPro cable. Highly recommended product for non-Session GoPros!

Great price, great performance

Great price, great performance. I love the green light that tells you when each battery is charged. Batteries do not last as long as genuine GoPro, but that is to be expected.I only wish it used a standard micro-B connector instead of the obsolete mini-A. Perhaps the mini-A can carry more current?

Extra batteries and an external charger

Pros:-Fit my GoPro battery plus the 2 included.-Charged all 3 batteries fairly quickly.-Indicator lights on each battery to show when fully charged.-All pieces come apart for easy packing and/or travel.Cons:-Wire to charging block is not attached, and is easily lost (speaking from experience).All in all, these batteries work great and the charger is fantastic, I highly recommend this product!

What a terrible product! I bought these batteries and the charger for my GoPro Hero 3 Black based on the good reviews and the good price.

Exploded underwater during a dive trip

The battery exploded underwater during a dive trip and ruined my GoPro, which now will never turn back on again. The explosion also caused my casing to explode.
