This lightweight collapsible telephoto zoom lens is great fun to use for both close and far shots. It captures images with good clarity and stably by hand even at maximum zoom. It has a narrow field of view which is suited for shots with a tight composition. It works wonderfully in auto and manual focus modes for both near and far shots. The manual focus ring requires very little effort to rotate. This lens is an excellent addition to the wider angle Nikon Nikkor 18-55mm VR kit lens that came with my Nikon D3300 DSLR camera. Here’s my YouTube video ([…]) unboxing, closeup look and some straight-from-the-camera pics using the Nikkor 55-200mm lens with a Nikon D3300 DSLR camera.
Great, compact tele lens for my D5500. Lightweight, decent IQ. it won’t be as sharp as more expensive lenses, but for the price it’s very good and accurate. Fast focus. Great for travel.
I bought the Nikon telephoto lens for my daughter as a gift. She loves using it. It is light and easy to use.
I bought as a gift . She loves it . So great product . She uses it everyday ! Thank you.
Fast focus… Lovely range. Add this lens to your pile.
Outstanding lens. It’s a Nikon, so that’s a given.
A great all-around lens for your Nikon.
Love the extra range for taking photos.
Only thing i disliked was that it dint come in the box even tho it was “new”
This is an alternate option within budget for people considering the 55-300 mm lens. May be this cannot reach as far as the 300 could but at this price can’t beat it.
I bought this lens as a replacement for one that I had for about 8 years. It works perfectly with my Nikon D40X which is a model from 2006.
Love it!!
A brilliant lens at a very affordable price! The picture quality is surprisingly good.
I’m sure it’s a fine lens, but it was the wrong one for the camera we have. I had to return it.
I might have gotten one that slipped through quality control. No matter the lighting conditions, tripod or handheld, I cannot get this lens to take a sharp photo. It’s going back.
Good sharp pictures!
Exelent service and fast shiping lens it a+ love it real happy
