Good value for price

This was a gift for a young family member. It is easy to use, and takes very good photos. My only minor complaint is that it’s tricky to learn how to use only a slight pressure on the shutter button to depress it halfway in order to focus before depressing all the way to release the shutter. It’s mostly a learning problem, but the key is for the user to wait for the on-screen focusing aid to change to green before depressing the shutter all the way down.

So much better than the old camera

My old camera was wearing out, not taking clear picture, so I got this Nikon to replace it. Cost, battery type and reviewers’ comments were big factors in my choice. I am thrilled with this little dynamo! Long battery life and sharp pictures. I create textile art, and this camera shows every stitch in crisp detail. Highly recommended.

Not worth the money. You get the camera with batteries and thats it. No memory card or a battery charger.

Good for cheap travel camera

Good value for the price. I wanted a small, cheap camera for travel. Wish it came with a cable for connection to a computer. Apparently Nikon uses a lot of proprietary cables.

Nikon Rules

Great camera. I have owned Nikon film cameras for years. There are no better cameras in the world despite what Canon owners profess ! This was a replacement for an earlier model Coolpix which my wife carried in her purse for 7 years. The A10 is a more sophisticated camera with better features.

Quality of picture not wonderful.

Very difficult for a 5 year old to use. Have to hold the button down for a few seconds for the picture to take. Quality of picture not wonderful.

Nikon coolplex A10

Great camera. took it on trip to Alaska and worked great. If you want a back lite need to adjust the exposure compensation. This may take a little time.
