This model is a good camera for the money

Purchased the L340 after my Nikon Coolpix L120 stopped working because of a small “fall”. It never gave me any issues and I always liked the way it worked and handled. So when I was looking for a new one I went right back to Nikon. After looking at several models I set a price range and ended up going with the L340. So far it does everything I liked in my L120 and it does it better. The picture quality is great and the zoom, while not the best on the market at this time, it is pretty damn good. The one thing I did not like about my L120 is that it ate batteries. With the L340, after several outings and a couple hundred pictures I am still on the first set of batteries. Which still show as relatively full. I am very happy with this camera so far. Of course if you spend more you can get better but I think this model is a good camera for the money.

Easy to use

This camera takes incredibly sharp pictures, is easy to use and is lightweight. Great for a beginning camera user.

Need a tutor!

A good camera. Zooming is blurry. Can’t seem to correlate the online instructions with the setup. instruction book has basics only. Online for ANYTHING in depth. Instructions mention letters on the camera (i.e. “k”). No such key. Pictures are crisp.

Its gift and she likes it , but there wasn’t a book to operate the camera, and settings. I have had two Nikons and sharing one of my books with her. Other wise it was the prefers gift for her.

Takes great pictures at 20MP

Little camera, lots of power.

I got this because I was sick of lugging my DSLR around. The first test for this camera was our trip to Europe this summer. I couldn’t be happier with how this little but powerful camera performed. It was also nice to be able to fit it into my purse and not have to worry about getting it in and out of a cumbersome cover or camera bag. Thanks to my DSLR I have some pretty high standards. This was perfect for me.

Takes okay pictures. Not the fastest camera, but I still like it.

Will Not Charge

This camera was good while it lasted. The charge it had on it was nice and lasted long. Once my camera died and I attempted to charge it, it would not charge nor cut on.

This is a terrible camera. Pictures come out blurry no matter how hard you try. This “20” Mpixel somehow takes worse pictures than an entry level smartphone, my old Sony…
