I have another Coolpix case which is all leather and overall very nice. This one came a little short of that

I got this case for my sister for Christmas, to go with her new Nikon Coolpix S3600. The case was just big enough for it to fit with no problems.Just a few small things keep me from giving the case a full 5 stars: 1) the magnetic flap isn’t very strong, which makes it harder to keep shut; 2) in the shipping box it was completely squashed flat, so it had wrinkles on it for the first few days (they went away eventually); and 3) the sides are not leather, but elastic fabric instead.I have another Coolpix case which is all leather and overall very nice. This one came a little short of that, but my sister is still satisfied.

Perfect Case for Nikon S6000

Ordered on Friday, received on Tuesday. This was to replace the original case for my S6000 which finally broke after some 6 years of being on my belt almost daily. Good quality and looks very much like the original. I will order another as a spare as I love my little pocket camera which takes great photos! Keep this case available, Amazon People! It’s okay.

Belt clip is actually elastic sewn onto the leather. The sides are also elastic as well. I understand that allows it to be flexable. I just didn’t understand that prior to the purchase.

Nikon Camera case

I love this case. It is an excellent snug fitting case. It holds the camera to prevent it slipping out. The size is small enough to fit into a pants or shirt pocket. the magnetic catch is easy to flip open or closed. A top quality feel about this item. I recommend it if you own a Nikon camera.

Best fit for a favorite older camera.

The factory original model is always going to fit. That’s important when the first one gets misplaced somewhere in Europe.

good for flip phones too

works perfectly for my flip phone. the magnet that holds the flap is strong enough that phone doesn’t fall out even when riding crazy rollercoaster rides.

Universal fit not a plus

This case was intended for a Nikon S600 compact camera. I have owned an earlier full-leather version of this case, and it fit the S600 perfectly, protected it well, and overall was a good case. This case fits ok, due to an elastic panel in the sides, and the magnetic clasp fits, but not as well as the older case. Time will tell if the elastic panel protects the camera as well as leather. I prefer the older, solid leather case- apparently no longer an option.
