The black Nikon D5300 DSLR Camera features a DX-format 24.2 megapixel sensor and EXPEED 4 image processor to produce high-resolution still imagery and full HD video with notable low-light sensitivity to ISO 12800 and a fast continuous shooting rate of 5 fps. The sensor design omits the traditional optical low-pass filter in order to gain the utmost sharpness and resolution from both photos and videos. Complementing the imaging assets are both a versatile 39-point autofocus system, with nine cross-type sensors, and a 2,016-pixel RGB sensor for precise exposure metering in a wide variety of lighting conditions. Additionally, 1920 x 1080p movie recording is supported, in multiple frame rates up to 60 fps, with full-time continuous auto focusing capabilities. The compact, yet durably designed, camera body incorporates both an optical pentamirror optical viewfinder along with a large 3.2” 1,037k-dot vari-angle LCD monitor, which features a 180° swivel design to better support working from high and low angles. Also integrated into the D5300 are both Wi-Fi and GPS modules, which enable advanced image sharing capabilities as well as location-based image tagging. When paired with an Android or iOS mobile device, remote viewing and control over the shutter release is possible from a distance and a vast network of pre-populated Points of Interest adds to the overall geotagging functionality.

Best camera yet !

Best camera out there. I reviewed a lot of newer cameras and yet this one had more features along with being user friendly. Little bummed the view screen doesn’t start on instant view for taking pictures. It starts on camera settings view. But only takes 1 second to flip it back. 1 other down side is I cant force a flash in all photo settings. Things like “Landscape” will not allow you to use a flash, but flip it into camera mode and you can choose, flash or no flash. The camera I like bc changing pictures to B&W or Sepia can be done on the camera. Nifty remote picture taking too, has a timer shot but with remote you decide when to take picture. Its IR so you have to have a clear shot for the remote to work. Bluettooth would be better. Its better than its big brother D7100 and the view screen turns in more ways than its brother too.

Best unit and great value

Overall at great buy! I had purchased a similar bundle minus the large tamaron lens from another seller. They canceled my order and I sent to this vendor. In the end this was a much better deal with everything included. The only glitch was the memory card was a generic one and didn’t work. I contacted the seller and they gladly refunded me the cost of a name brand or. As far as the camera, I’m an amateur and wanted to upgrade to a decent DSLR. So far happy with the purchase and will sure to be using it proficiently by the next vacation.

I had a camera like this but it was stolen. I was so glad to see that this camera was just like my old camera. It has a built in flash that flips out when you press to focus the frame. Everything fits perfect. This camera takes beautiful pic!! Love it!!
