Easy slide-in design secures each Joy-Con
Color:Red If you love Nintendo Switch, you’re going to spend a lot of time playing it. The Comfort Grip brings the left and right Joy-Con Controllers together to make one comfortable controller, so you can play as long as you like. Ergonomic, rubber grips will keep your palms happy and your fingers from cramping. ProTip: the Comfort Grip stands up on its own and looks great next to your Nintendo Switch Dock.
It’s larger than the one that comes with the switch, but I like that because it feels more like a controller, and less like my hands are cramped (I have kinda big hands). As people have mentioned, it’s slightly more difficult hitting the button to slide the joycons off, but it really isn’t that bad. In fact I think it’s trivial. The grip on it feels great, and I like it better than the stock grip. If anything, I might start using this one more than the one I got with the switch. I like it.
Ignore the bad review. This is a nintendo product made by a thurd party so nintendo still approved it as a offical product. It has a rubber grip which is way better then the stock one, it has an overall better design and so if you need one for playing two player mario cart if you have 4 joycons I recommend this one
The controller grip gets the job done at a decent savings. This grip is an officially licensed Nintendo accessory manufactured by a third party. Nothing at all wrong with this, I’ve been buying third party accessories since the original NES launched. The grip tracks that the Joy-Cons slide into are plastic, not a metal track like the one sold by Nintendo. I am giving this a 4 star review because the grip serves its purpose however, there is one flaw. I feel there is a bit of a flaw with the design tolerance with left Joy-Con track. The left track is a snug fit (after a few days of removing/inserting it is loosening up) and takes a bit of effort to insert and remove the left Joy-Con. The right slides right in and out with very little effort while still keeping the controller locked in place. I like this much better than the Nintendo version. Is the tight fit worth returning or not buying? No, I’d buy another if I needed another grip because the grip still works and it saved me a few dollars.
I was excited because of all the good reviews for this but the unit I received shouldn’t have gotten past QA. The left joycon requires serious force to slide in and out of the grip and I’m afraid it’s going to break my left joycon one day.edit: editing this because I got a replacement and there’s no problem with the joycons sliding in and out for this one. 4⁄5 stars only because the edges of the back of the unit get in the way of your index fingers when you use it and it’s kind of annoying. I like the stock one better but this one is decent too
Really nice and comfortable to handle
Compared to the comfort grip that was included inside the console box (at least at launch), this grip has remarkable improvements. The grip is slightly wider than the launch version, so your fingers do not scrape together. There is also an added grip texture to the handles, making the controller more comfortable. Lastly, the handles are slightly curved now, once again making it easier to hold and much more comfortable. I would highly recommend this over the original comfort grip.
This grip is noticably more comfortable than the included grip that comes with the Switch. It is more ergonomic and the slightly-rubbery texture make it an upgrade.I bought this along with neon yellow joycons so that I could have two full-size controllers and four single joycons, and I’m glad I did. I am using this over the stock grip going forward.
Works great and it is very comfortable. I have two of these now.
High quality and has a betty “ heafty feel” far better than the OEM Joycon grip…… Now, only if it had a battery.
Awesome
Made by a third party retail but is bigger and more comfy then original grip
This is an extremely affordable and comfortable grip for your Joy-Cons.The only issue I have with it is that when trying to use it with ARMS, it doesn’t work properly…
Poor quality. Left joycon hard to insert. Please spend more for the real thing.
This works great.
Left joy-con you almost have to force it in but overall good feeling controller
The left side does not work
All plastic but it does the job.
