it is just incredible how such a little light can be so efficient and well made. the body is made from polycarbonate materials so it is impact resistant approved and there are videos of this light on youtube testing it on a hardcore level of running it over with a jeep and the thing still works, the adjustable lumen feature is very cool , going from 1 to 45 lumens so you can see perfectly in front of you i’d say about 5-6 meters which is incredible for just a little keychain light. the button is solid and stays in place without any shaking.the battery type is li-on and the charging system is awesome, you do not have to worry about overcharging it or voltage unbalances because it has a intelligent protection charging system which is USB guys! (the charging cord is the same of a usb samsung cell phone so you can find it anywhere and at a low cost)how cool is that ? guys like me who travel a lot abroad i don’t have to worry about 110V,220V,230V and BS like that, i just plug it in to my portable pc and it’s done charging in less than an hour.I have had this flashlight for about 2 months now and all i can say is that it is a great product and many great compliments to nitecore on this one.P.Sit is very important that you know what purpose you need a flashlight for ,then you choose which suits you best . don’t just go for the most convenient and think that it will do the job for every situation. hunting, fishing, personal defence,EDC,keychain, bike riding, hiking, inspection, spotting ecc…. each of these activities requires different types of flashlights most of the the time . thankyou for reading have a good one.

It is so small I don’t feel it on my keychain. It is powerful enough to navigate a dark street or find something in a pitch black room, yet it also has a low mode for tasks that do not require much light, like reading a note, finding a keyhole, looking into a bag etc. I love the low mode, since it does not drain the battery and is bright enough for many tasks. The infinitely variable brightness is a nice touch. It also comes with two keyrings, and most importantly, it is USB rechargeable. No need to buy those expensive and rare watch batteries. Just plug it in a USB, wait an hour, and you’re good to go.Not only do I recommend it highly, but I would also suggest buying several. Give one to all your loved ones, keep them in packs and kits, use them as zipper pulls, hand them out as gifts. They are very well-made, durable, very bright, small enough to go on your keys, and just very hand to have. Great product, at a great price.Maybe Nitecore will release a steel casing version, for increased durability. That would be nice too.➤ Photos• Disassembled unit.• Size comparison: AA battery, Gerber Shard, Key-Bak, Nite Ize QuicKey, Namann Key pocket knife, Nitecore Tube, Gerber Dime.
I’m super picky about the size of my keyring. My requirement is that is must fit in the coin pocket of my jeans. I keep three house keys, a Swiss+Tech Utility key, and a now this little light. It all fits perfect. The low setting is enough to move around the house if it’s dark, especially if your eyes are night adjusted. The high setting is brighter than I thought it would be from something this small. It’s plenty to light a room, see down a hallway or light a blacked out stairwell. The light is mostly flood with no real spot. When it’s charging there is a tiny blue light that’s visible, it goes off when fully charged. I love that I can top it off and know that it’s completely charged, unlike my other coin cell key chain lights.I tested the run time on high and got to about 50 minutes before I noticed a real drop in brightness. At about 60 minutes it had dimmed very noticeably but was still plenty to navigate a room. After 70 minutes it had really dimmed to just a lumen or two but was still usable to navigate indoors. It was probably the equivalent of it’s low setting. I stopped testing after that so as not to completely drain the battery since Lithium Ions don’t like to be completely discharged.I paid $11.99 for it in Dec ‘14 with Prime. I noticed the price has gone up a little. I hope they keep low, especially considering there is no charging cord included (make sure you have a micro USB cable). Even so, it’s amazing how far LED flashlights have come in the last few years.
small and powerful! :) attached to keychain.
This little light is awesome! It’s crammed full of features that you would usually find on a higher end full sized light. High, low, and dimmer functions are all easy to access.
Unfortunately this nice little flashlight broke after 6 months.I took it out of my pocket and it would not turn on.I think the switch broke.
Good product. Everyone should have one. Going to buy more for Christmas presents.
User Note: It died within 10 minutes after removing it from package and we thought we’d have to return it.
Seemed like a great idea! Great value and looks great Thing received, very good oh, like very much, very good seller.
Quite powerful for its size. I keep it attached to my cane so I always have a light when I need it.
Bright and rechargeable. About the size of a key on your key chain.
This has become my default keychain/EDC flashlight. It is light, bright, easy to use, and recharges quickly with the same cord I use for my tablet and phone. Perfect!
