For Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Raspberry Pi 2 Model B Raspberry Pi A/A+/B/B+ Raspberry Pi Zero
I own two of these. One I purchased to power a Raspberry Pi 3b, and the other I purchased to power a home-built electromagnet (my wife is a science teacher). For the Pi, the adapter just works. Not much to say there. But for the electromagnet, I was pleased to find that my calculations for expected current were only off by about 2%, meaning the voltage provided by this supply is very close to 5V true. The electromagnet only draws 1.5A, so I can’t speak to the maximum amperage. Overall it seems to be a reliable power supply. Add the clicky power switch, and you’ve got a winner. My only complaint is that it’s a little difficult to tell what state the clicky switch is in. It would be nice if the switch had a built in LED. This isn’t really necessary for the Pi, though, since the Pi has its own power LED. Just kind of stunk that I had to put one on the electromagnet, particularly since the electromagnet doesn’t expose a nice place to put one. :(
I was doing research on which kit to buy, I ended up just piecing one together. Definitely glad I found this. If you end up buying a kit you should consider adding this into your cart before checkout. It’s longer than the standard cords and has a on/off button - seemed common sense to me.Definitely worth it’s price.
Perform shutdown, turn off power, walk away. No need to worry about constantly feeding electricity to the Pi when not in use.My Pi is configured as a RetroPi, and doesn’t need to be on except when in use as a gaming console. IF you want to go even greener, plug this into a socket that is ‘switched’ by the TV drawing power as wall warts like this always use electricity even when not providing it to a device.
I like this northpanda raspberry Pi 3 model ac adapter,it works great. The length of the cord is 5 feet with power on and off switch. This is awesome product, dependable and durable. Helps your undervoltage problem . Nice quality. I will recommend this.
Works perfect
Solved my under voltage problem and has a cool switch. The switch is a cheap little toggle but it does the trick. Powers a Pi 3 with no problems.
This is a great power supply. You can get the exact same one for a dollar less if you look for another brand with the same specs.
Nice fast shipping. Got this because I wanted a way to turn off my Raspberry Pi without unplugging it. Works well.
There are a variety of 2.5A micro USB power supplies on Amazon, and I have tried both cheap and expensive.
Only power supply I’ve found that has an on/off switch and provides the proper power to the pi. Replaced all my pi power supplies with them.
High quality and provides loads of power for my LattePanda. ( 3 Amps )
So far so good. Had low voltage warning on rpi3, solved problem.
A “Must have” for any Pi owner
Works as intended
Works as advertised.
Good power supply. Bought a couple more for Raspberry Pi’s.
This is a nice little upgrade and will extend the life of the power port on my pi.
