The Old Town Twin Heron Kayak is great for paddling with a partner, your dog, or all the camping gear you need for an extended stay in the wilderness. Old Town engineered a hull that won’t pop up when you’re paddling this boat alone, so you can comfortably paddle from the stern seat without feeling like you’re riding a wheelie across the lake. The front seat can be easily removed to make room for gear when you’re headed out on a multi-day trip or to make room for Fido. The boat includes two adjustable Comfort Flex seats for full-day comfort on the water. The easy-to-adjust foot brace system keeps your feet secure and comfortable, and it’s fitted with position indicators so you can set both sides to identical lengths. Getting the boat to and from the water is easy with a partner thanks to carrying handles at the bow and stern. The boat also features paddle holders and cup holders, so you can enjoy the beverage of your choice out on the lake without dropping your paddle after a few too many.

Twin Heron a great performer

This product was delivered in less than one week from ordering it. The kayak was exactly as described and then some. It is roomy for two large adults. It handles easily as a single or tandem craft. It is sturdy in the water. Other tandem kayaks much more costly do not measure up to the quality and performance of this one. This kayak is definitely a bargain that will not disappoint. The colors make this beauty stand out in the water as well as at the dock or beach.

The kayak is nice but the shipping was horrible. I could have saved $150 and a lot of hassle by buying it locally.Back to the kayak, it’s very stable and well constructed.

Great purchase for the family!With two smaller children, we still wanted to go Kayaking, but were having logistical troubles making it work.Bought two of them.These solved the problem. Love them.They are big :) Two people, kind of have to be.I recommend getting a Kayak dolly if your partner isn’t up to carrying from car to water.

I have had several couples use this kayak. All with the same results it does not track straight. Something is very wrong with the design. DO NOT BUY.
