This tripod base stand’s hybrid sheet metal and composite leg housing make it virtually unbreakable. An extremely stable stand, even on irregular surfaces, the MS7700B is an excellent choice for use in a variety of settings. The long foldable legs also make this stand ideal for the touring pro!
Good mic stand! Does the job and can be easily packed up for a gig. I mostly use this for home recording, but it is very nice to be able to use this and move it around. The adjustable height is also useful for various heights.I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons. The first is that the three legs of the tripod are a bit wobbly, even when the screw is the tightest you can make it. It’s not too bad, but it’s noticeable especially if you accidentally knock into it when recording or if have an Acoustic Shield and a mic on top of it. With heavier objects, the legs become a bit questionable. The second is that the 3 legs lock into place. There becomes a few scuff marks on those legs the more you lock it into place and unlock it. The scuff marks were noticeable after the first lock/unlock.Other than those two things, the mic stand does its job! And at a pretty decent price too!
This tripod stand is exactly as advertised. Once all the adjustments are understood, setting it up is a breeze and it holds my AT2035 solidly in place. This sturdy mic stand is fantastic for this price range.
I am using these for part of a photo light strip. For what I need, they are very satisfactory. The base is nice and solid while not weighing a ton. I expect the pair will fit in a Precision Design 34-inch Tripod Carrying Case from Amazon.
It supports a mini amplifier without any problem. Easy to set up and fits neatly into my trunk without any problems.
I’ve been pleased with On Stage equipment. I have their keyboard stand and this is not my first mike stand. A good choice to light-medium use.
Got my tripod mic stand yesterday and have already put it to use. It works perfectly with the boom attachment I already had. This is a sturdy stand with a cable clamp that slides up and down the stem and can be removed and replaced to accommodate a microphone or other cable. It folds up for easy carry and storage.
Must confess that I am using as drying stand for painting of small auto parts. Haved modified with cross bar and hangers
I just recieved my tripod stand. First off it seems pretty sturdy. I plan on attaching an isolation shield along with my Rode NT1 mic. (We’ll see if it is sturdy enough) I placed 2 weights on it. From the top down to the tripods for more bottom weight. The tripods do not hold when folded as if you were taking them on tour. (A rubberband will fix this so that the legs do not flop around) I was not to worried since this mic will be strictly home use. I will add to this review once I complete the setup since I do not yet have the mic or shield. (They should be here any minute now) As for the stand itself I see no problem with it. 4 stars until I can see if it can with stand some top weight.
As expected. No complaints. Works great in my karaoke shows.
Good for the price. I use it as a Professional Puppet stand.
Works Great
Works well and is very sturdy!
Super sturdy. Feels good. Looks good and easy to make smaller and taller.
I bought this for my grand daughter and was really disappointed that now I will have to buy the attachment to even hold the microphone. Makes no sense to me.
Works great
PERFECT
Great deal!
comments powered by DisqusSeemed sturdy at first but the screw that tightens the legs eventually failed. It is too undersized for long term durability. The bottom of the tripod area is a poor design.
