Sturdy and does its job

I bought a pair of these inexpensive fans because they would fit in the smaller double-hung windows I have in the attic of my home. In summer months, the heat builds up there and is stifling; no doubt it prevents the rest of the house from cooling off faster.I set up one fan facing into the room with the other fan facing outside, the idea being to create a flow of cooler, nighttime outside air through the room and pushing out the hot air at the same time.I think it made a measurable difference.the fans are very quiet, seem well-made and are a nice, compact size that would do just as well for a desktop or other small space. And the price is right.

not so quiet

ok, so this fan is not as quiet as I was hoping for. I do not likes noise… so fans are not my friend… but because we live in an older house and it is getting very warm out, we have to have fans going to circulate the air. However, I do like the small size of this fan. It is windy where we live, and so the wind tends to blow the bigger box fans right out of the window, to where this one sits nicely and is not easily blown over.

So far so good for quality

The cord is a little shorter than I wish it were, but I knew that before buying it. So far so good for quality. We ran it day and night for almost a month before the weather became too hot to keep the windows open. While obviously not silent, it was plenty quiet enough not to disturb, certainly quieter than other fans we have in the house. Seems like a good little fan so far.

A very nice little fan for the money - no complaints and working very well.

We bought this fan to go in our small bedroom window to blow outdoor air into the bedroom and to provide a little white noise for easier sleeping. We’ve been running it for about a month now and we’re very happy with it. It runs quietly but with a soft hum that is soothing to help induce sleep. It runs all day and night in the window and is free of vibrations or movement, sitting nicely on its feet and not moving from where we placed it. And yet, when I want to take it down from the window to switch it on or off, it’s very light weight to pick up and move. The cord reaches easily from the window to the nearest available outlet without stretching. And the two speeds are adequate for our needs.PROS: Quiet, no vibration, moves air well, light weight, easy to change speeds, reasonable length cord.CONS: None so far. We really like it.

Louder than I expected

I have to admit, this is louder than I thought it would be. I had a small fan years ago and it was whisper quiet, so I assumed all fans were like that. But that being said, it does kick out a nice flow of air for its size, and the sound doesn’t keep me from sleeping (it’s in my bedroom window). It’s kind of like grey noise, just a bit louder than I would have liked.

I was looking for a small, simple fan to replace one that I had in my computer room that I was really happy with. I used the old one almost constantly every summer (and frequently in the winter as well, because all my computer equipment generates a lot of heat) for 5 years and it always performed flawlessly until it died suddenly a couple of days ago. I was hoping this fan would be the same one with a different brand name on it, and it appears that it is. Appearance-wise it’s identical except for the name on it. Hopefully this one will perform as well, and for as long, as the previous one did. It’s not particularly quiet, nor particularly loud, but it makes a nice breeze to cool me off while I’m working, and that’s what’s important.

Unstable. Overpriced. Avoid.

Even on the low speed this unstable fan shakes so much, it’s unusable. …Unless you don’t mind rattling noises as it vibrates against things. …Or worse yet, falls from its perch. I will try to dig the box out of the cavernous recycling bin so I can return it. I would rather use the old fan it replaced than this hunk of plastic garbage.

Decent power, quiet enough

Survived a fall from window into bathroom floor. My one gripe is that the top is not flat, so it doesn’t fit well when you try to hold in place with the upper window.

i even had this fan on timer for my basement so it was not like i was using it nonstop

should have reviewed this product sooner. the motor stopped working after using it for 2 days, the only reason i didnt contact the seller was cause it was cheap so didnt bother…

great compact fan

Had this lil fan for two years and it still works well. It comes in handy during the summer i can throw it in a small bag and take with me wherever I’m working.
