Product Reviews

OK - couple issues.

I’m keeping it, but… It has little legs that it can optionally use to stand on. The rubber pieces on these legs fall off continuously. Even though I noticed this, I lost one withing one minute. The unit is a bright, fluorescent white, not the typical off-white of my other fans. It does not blend well with egg-shell paint tone.Otherwise - it was the narrowest double fan I could find on amazon and the only one that would fit my small window area. It is about as loud as all my other fans of the same size - normal fan volume.

Fan is a bit noisy, and the air output is low. However, on low breeze days, it does pull some cool air into a 10’ x 14’ x 8’H room. Unfortunately, that air doesn’t travel very far from the window; therefore, I need a second small fan to circulate the air about the room. My setup is: One Optimus at the top of the window (exhaust) , another at bottom (Intake) with a small circular fan in front of it. The room is much cooler, but I had to be creative. Also, you’ll have to find a way to keep the insects out. That said, I ran these fans on high almost 247 during the entire spring season and they are still working

three-way switch

Good for the price. very simple. you have to turn the fan around for change of wind direction. The motors only turn one way. Its fine but it isnt made out of much. If it were dropped it would probably break right away.

works good

Exactly what I needed

I’ve had this fan for a few days and I love it so far. I bought it because despite the fact that it’s reaching 40 degrees outside, my 9th floor apartment has been getting as hot as 85, even with the heat off! My windows only open about 7 inches and the apt would only cool down when the wind outside was blowing directly into the room; in other words, pretty much never.A big selling point for me was the optional feet. My window does not open enough to install the fan directly in it, but it fits perfectly standing on my windowsill in front of the open window. It brings in plenty of cool air from outside and isn’t loud, certainly not as noisy as your average window air conditioner. For only $25, this was a great buy. Now I can sleep more comfortably during the fall and spring! I’d definitely recommend it.

needed

It gets 123+ degrees here and having to run ac all day non-stop is unreasonable(not forgetting expensive) I bought this fan to save a few bucks running it at night being it still gets 103 at 2am..in the room I have it in , it really does it job having 2 speeds a hi and a lo. the unit has to be padded and snuggled into position only ‘cause when the unit is on hi it does rattle and shake a bit but in lo I don’t have that problem. it’s a good buy and hopes and wishes this unit will last a long while. great for a small to medium room

Two Stars

It rattles. The wings suck

Two Stars

One Star

Cheap, noisy.

Five Stars

Four Stars

This is working great so far.

Five Stars

Pretty good

Four Stars

Love it. Could be a little quieter

not a two way fan

The description says “manually reversible” which I figured would be a switch to get the fan to reverse.

Cheap, poorly made fan

Ok, there is only one reason to buy this, and that’s because it’s smaller than most of these types of window fans. It fits in my 11” opening window, and it moves air.

Good, basic fan

This is a basic fan that has worked well for the past month. You place it in the window, extend the side panels, plug in the power and turn it on.

Horrible.

Purchase one for less than $20 at your local walmart or online. This is junk. Where do I begin? First the seller has a 1 item per household quantity limit. Fine.
