3D-RF Emitter Only
The benefit of an RF synchronizing mechanism, as used by this device, is that you don’t have to be line-of-sight to an infrared signal emitter. People moving around, etc., never interfere with the signal being sent to the glasses, and so your experience is about as good as it can be as far as keeping the stereo vision effect up and running goes. The unit is tiny, sits right next to the projector, completely unobtrusive. This is definitely a better way to go than the usual infrared glasses. If you’ve got a stereo vision (so-called 3d) Optoma projector, go ahead, you won’t be disappointed by this unit.
Ok… So the joystick on this device is the most stupid Andover complicated item on the smallest device that could ever be conceived of! Dumb dumb dumb! That being said, once set up and paired with my glasses,it has been flawless! The led indicators are clear and you can see status instantly and easily. Getting the dang thing set up is a un-fun process. Maybe the joystick will be some kind of future upgrade but right now, just a couple of buttons would have been better. Must have got a really great price on these during development or something. The performance, range, and functionality is stellar. I cannot take away a single star for a stupid design. The dang thing works and works well. That is the bottom line.
I knew this was a required option for use with the Optoma RF2100 3D glasses I purchased for my projector(Optoma HD25LV). The system works great and I am looking forward to enjoying many movies.
This pairs perfectly with my Optoma HD25-LV projector. It performs flawlessly. I don’t know what else you can say about a well built, noiseless well performing electronic device. It would be nice if it were cheaper but I think it’s the best of what this technology has to offer.
It was a very easy installation process.I used the top of the projector, once mine is on the ceiling. The only thing that bothers me is the fact the red light keeps blinking while it does not capture a 3D signal.
Works great as advertised.
Obsolete product according to Optoma. Not necessary or usable with current Optoma projectors.
I didn’t need it.
excellent
It works sometimes. Sometime not.
Thank you
