my job involves having many….many keys needed on different days and carabiners are the easiest way to keep up with these keys, but I cannot rely on any of these. almost all of them have broken with minimal use and although I relize they are not intended for mountain climbing I cant even open and close them repeatedly with no weight involved before the latch just falls open on its own. cheaply made.
Great for ready access to kids’ little this and that
These carabiners are not for mountaineering, but for those of us urbanites with little children who can appreciate the ease of hooking up kids’ this and that to which you want to have ready access. We use these carabiners to hang a water bottle to a backpack, a camera to the pants, and a little bag to a bigger bag, etc. They save us from the hassles of having to dig into a bag to find what is needed right away. We especially like the smaller size ones that come in this package.
Mediocre and misleading.
They really need to make the exact sizes you are getting clear when listing a description of the product. Not to mention these are pretty weak. I know they are not even remotely for climbing or heavy duty purposes, but I was disappointed in their quality none the less.
Use them for my keys. Recommend them.
Been using these for keys to clip to my pant belt loops to always keep my car keys on me while I am at work. One of the best purchases I have had in a while. They hold up well. I like how you can clip with a smaller clip the keys to a cabin that you don’t necessarily use a lot and can clip them to your car keys when you need them and can then unclip them when not needed. I would recommend these.
Not for climbing, good for almost everything else
I have a medium-sized and rather strong dog, and I keep these around to clip things to her leash, crate, bucket, or whatever. It also seems you always need something else to attach things to your belt when you’re learning to train your dog. The smaller clips are useful for that, as well as for temporarily attaching things to my car, purse – you get the idea. Quite handy.
Great carabiners!
When you have a Service Dog you need MANY carabiners but I am using the one in my purse as a key holder and so they have many uses. I am so happy with them and need different sizes that I am buying the same set again. I wouldn’t say they are the touchest ones but super useful for many things. I would think if one needed strength this wouldn’t be the ones you want.
Great utility carabiners!
I love these ‘beaners!Terrific to help organize your pile of spare keys, clip things to your belt loop or backpack. I even them for my employee badge instead of the stupid retractable badge clip (that we all thought were “so cool” until we realized they were all junk!) I would not trust them for anything too important (i.e. not for heavy things, or rock climbing) but just good around the house and work! The spring is the first thing to go on these, (they just wear out over time, not an instantaneous failure) but it usually takes a few years of daily use. You will have good warning time before you decide you need to replace it.5 stars!
