Great Replacement

A friend scratched the front lens cover and needed a replacement and this was a great replacement. Although a tight fit, but you learn to adjust in order to get the GoPro in and out of the housing–not a big deal, really. Would recommend compared to the others I’ve searched.

Inexpensive replacement option for Go Pro form factor camera housings…

This housing replaced the OEM unit that shipped with a Go Pro Hero form factor action camera.About half the cost of a Go Pro branded equivalent. Simpler latching mechanism (single bail lift vs. the two-button style of many Go Pro housings).The camera is safe from mayhem again. Select with confidence.

Surface cracks but no leakage

Has small visable cracks on corners and around buttons. But they are surface cracks only. I’ve used under water in a pool and mountain creeks with no leakage.

Looks exactly like the housing that came w my gopro3. Got it so i dont have to drill into my expensive gopro housing (incase i mess it up). I dont take my gopro underwater so i cant speak to that aspect.

It works!!! Not too bad.

OVERALL, i am satisfied. I however wish that i could place 3 ¹⁄₂ stars because there was an instant turn off when i opened the package up to find that one of the buttons had completely fallen off and i was like “WTF, are you serious?” But with some patience and a flat head screwdriver i was able to replace the button back on the device and it is fully functional; and as well fits the GoPro hero 4 perfectly. No other comments to provide. BUY WITH CAUTION

Hopefully it stays nice and sealed

Appears to be very similar in quality to the original gopro case I received. I probably will not be testing it under water, but will put it thru the test while snowboarding. Hopefully it stays nice and sealed. The only thing that felt a bit flimsy was the clip for the housing door. Figure if I’m careful with it, it shouldn’t give me any issues.

Essential for protecting your camera.

Great housing. Prior to buying my impression was to use this case only when I am underwater but this can be used all the times. The view window is transparent. It is very strong and sturdy. This case is water proof, dust proof & shock proof and is a great choice for those who would like to get into underwater photography but don’t want to invest a fortune.

As good/better than the GoPro OEM cases. The case worked well in activities above and below Sea Level. There was no sign of leakage up to 15M 50ft dive depth. We have not had the chance to use these cases in high vibration racing situations where the GoPro cases have had failures related to stress cracks in the attachment fingers.
