These are three heavy duty leashes. I somehow had the impression that the rod straps were lighter in weight. I would prefer a similar but lighter rod leash, but these will do. I hope so because they seem well made and it looks like they should probably last me the rest of my life.
Great for kayaking gear
Use these for my kayak paddle and other gear, love it. Nice craftsmanship and works very well, I would recommend this product.
If you need a paddle or rod leash… BUY THIS ONE
Much less expensive than other options and work as they should. You don’t need the carabiner so that is a nice bonus.To give you an idea of the strength of these, my son got tired after a water gun war on a super windy lake and I had to tow him back. I attached the stern handle of my kayak to the bow handle of his and was able to tow him with no damage to the leash.

These are pretty great. Im used to having things tethered to me or my water craft while fly fishing in moving or deep water, so whats a few more lines to dance around. Product is as described and so far they’re working well.

Great product! Had the chance to use them on my kayak right away! They worked as advertised and seem to be well made! Especially that you get 3 cords and a clip in one purchase, and that the product is made in America! 10⁄10 would buy from them again!
Great Leashes
Excellent price. These are invaluable as a knob Quaker. Keeps thing organized and more importantly with you. It is never good to get separated from paddle or from other items you use to maintain contact.

This paddle leash is easy to attach to the paddle, and clip on your life jacket. The leash does not get in your way while paddling…you forget it is there.
