NEW ONE WORKS GREAT..

I HAD TROUBLE ,BUT I ADVISE TO FLY INSIDE FIRST IF IT STARTS TO FLY AWAY YOU CAN STOP IT .I TRIED EVERYTHING TO FIX IT PARROT GAVE ME LOTS OF THINGS TO TRY BUT NO LUCK.THEY HAD ME RETURN IT AND THEY CHECKED IT OUT AND REPLACED IT.NEW ONE WORKS GREAT…….

Great drone, this is the second I have. The first experience was with a swat i bought from BestBuy. and now that i can compare i know that the first one was a defective one. Keep in mind that this is a toy drone and is not meant for windy conditions, you can take it out but i can not handle windy conditions, it tries to compensate light breezes but that’s all.These drones if the come working properly are very durable, this one has been lost twice (every time was my fault) and i have recovered in perfect condition.Things to consider:1.If you are looking for a drone for outdoors. This is not all of the times, you can do it if the wind is very light.2. AVOID WiFi signals and directv dishes. These drive the drone Crazy and gets difficul to handle3. I totally recommend buying the flypad, it is the best option for control and range.4. The camera is below and works as part of the stabilization system5. Once again AVOID windAs a first drone it is a very good introduction durable and you will enjoy it for long

I want to like the drone so much, but there are problems.

I go the Cargo MiniDrone from my son for his birthday. It came in today and I opened it charged the battery. I loaded the software on my android device. The Bluetooth pairing is difficult at best. The software often does not see the drone unless you forget and repair the device and then you have to close and reopen the software to get it to see the pairing. Now the unit is paired so I upgraded the firmware took about 15 - 20 min and the drone rebooted. .. Cool so now after all this I think maybe I should run a few test flights. Out of 10 flights the drone lost Bluetooth connection in the middle of the flight 3 times. 6 times the drone goes unresponsive during the flight and then jams to the ceiling gouging the ceiling with the rotors.My son will never be able to use the drone as it will destroy it’s self on the ceiling if it keeps acting like this.Disappointing is an understatement now I don’t have a drone for his birthday later this week. I will call the company on Monday and see if there is a fix other wise it will go back to Amazon.Update: I contacted support and they worked with me, but were not able to resolve the issue. They thought it was either a defective drone or a compatibility issue with the Bluetooth on our android tablets. They were very kind and tried hard to help I have bumped them one star for that, but I returned the drone and due to the shot time before my sons birthday. I ordered a competitors drone, and my son is very happy.

Disappointment

I bought this drone specifically because you can do coding lessons with it on Tynker. My kids like that, but the battery life is dismal. If you charge it and unplug it and try to use it the next day it is at barely 50%. 2 days later and barely at 10%. Yes, it says to remove the battery if you are not going to use it for a while, but 2 days doesn’t seem like awhile to me. I have 2 and they are both the same. Nothing like excited kids ready to code their drones only to find that there is only enough battery life for one short run if that.I also purchased the hand controller, thinking my children would also be able to use it without phones or iPads… yunno, normal style. The controller does NOT work independently with the drone. You MUST also have a phone or iPad connected.And none of us have been able to get full functionality out of the camera.Overall, very poor. 2 stars because it works with Tynker. Otherwise a disappointment.

Fun for kids and adults, best to learn on.

Kids love it ages 9 & 11. Hovers with no control input. Phone/Tablet app allows you to tailor speed and acceleration, so you can fly slowly in living room safely. Sonic sensor and camera on bottom refine vertical and horizontal motion to keep it stable. Used this drone to train on before buying an expensive ($1000) drone

Update killed it.

No longer works after the last firmware update to the drone and after an update to the FreeFlight Mini app it can’t see the drone or the flypad controller either.

Received this for Christmas fairly easy to fly don’t like the picture for future and the battery life is absolutely horrible.

Bought 2 for my 10 and 8 y.o. sons for Christmas. Worked great since Christmas and then last night, it got a mind of its own and flew up, up and away…. It’s gone.
