The Perfect Drone for Everybody’s Favorite Building Block System
Having read some of the previous reviews, let me start by saying I have never flown this outside. Bluetooth range is so limited I do not believe it should be flown outside. Anything can happen once you leave range. Besides, who wants to risk losing their Legos? I purchased this mini drone as an indoor toy.I was pleased that it came with a variety of stickers for customization, but I ended up leaving it plain. I want all of my design to come from Legos. I chose to make a Batcopter for Batgirl as my first project. I was very impressed with the amount of weight it could take and still perform well in flight. It still maintains level flight even though my design is not perfectly balanced. The photo ability is fun. It can still perform all of its stunts and functions with blocks and a figure attached. The flight app allows you to record from your phone and transfer the drone photos to your phone via Bluetooth.I was fortunate to purchase this for $40 with shipping–much better than the $70 price at Target. As a $40 Lego indoor mini drone, I could not be happier with this product. A dream come true.
Very fun little quad
Very fun little quad! My four year old loves it because he can fly it with little instruction, and I have it set up like a normal transmitter is(was the easiest way for him). Now he can be like daddy when I fly bigger quads.
doesn’t seem very robust, but maybe I was just unlucky..
when it worked, it was brilliant. however, after around 10-15 flights over the course of a couple of weeks, it started to develop a wobble along the front-right to rear-left axis. the ultrasonic sensor also became very hot and the battery drain was significantly higher, yielding around 4 minutes of flight time iso 7-9 minutes previously.camera was low resolution but was quite fun for aerial selfies.unfortunately I had to return it was it was defective. ordered another Minidrone with my fingers firmly crossed!
Works great!
My son loved this for Christmas! Only bad thing was needed to download update on device prior to use- which took a very long time (> 8 hrs). Disappointing for my son on Christmas Day. But he likes it a lot!
Using with middle school kids for a drone camp
An amazing value drone. We are using these for a drone camp we are running with 7th-9th grade students. They are extremely stable and easy to fly indoors.

I bought one and it had problems connecting. Worked with customer support and now I’m crashing into things like the best of them. I love this toy.
